I thought he did a great job.

Of course, I think he'd do an even better job on the Spurs bench next year.

Or in Phoenix with Steve Kerr.

Or in Chicago.

Where do you think Avery will land next season?

Avery has officially pledged himself to Project Mayhem. I got his 300 dollars in personal burial money and everything.

You're certainly hitting these trolls at the peak of their phenomena, aren't you?

I thought Avery would be a better addition to the TNT crew than he would on the Spurs bench, calling isos all day long.

Perhaps you would prefer Iron Man. Prince Caspian maybe? How about Indiana Jones? I hear he's making a comeback.

btw Chris Duel you're kind of a bitch.

You haven't beleived in the Spurs at all this postseason.

Something from this decade would be a good start.

You haven't been listening closely.

I expressed my concern at 0-2.

Does that = not believing in the Spurs at all this postseason?

I don't think so.

You picked the Suns in round 1.

Technically, I am a product of this decade.

I picked the Spurs in Round Two.

OK fair enough.

I guess I'm mad at you for conforming to the popular choice, picking against the Spurs right off the bat. You should've put a little more faith out there.

So what do you think right now? Our guys gonna pull it off or what?

sorry to hijack the thread. Avery Johnson was great on TNT, I felt a little sorry for him taking all the roasting.

You can be mad. I get that.

But as a Spurs fan since '73, I knew the wrath I risked by picking Phoenix. In the end, I had to tell the truth and say what I believed. I was wrong and I am glad that I was wrong.

I could have taken the easy route and been the homer and picked the Spurs even if I didn't feel it.

Right now... I feel good about Game Six for the Spurs. But, being a freak, while saying that I wonder if I am joining in the jinx.

The vast majority of the people we spoke with on the radio today - callers and local broadcasters - were looking ahead to Game Seven.

That scares the crap out of me.

Game Seven doesn't exist yet.

And when you put yourself into an elimination game, you are playing dice with The Gods.

If the Spurs can win Game Six, they will have 3.5 days rest before Game Seven.

If they play a Game Seven, I think they will win.

Thats cool, I can respect that. Everyone looking ahead to game seven scares me too in all honesty. One game at a time.

Love ya, love your show...

what time do you go to work anyway

Jesus Christ man...you have to be kidding right? The same over bearing Avery Johnson that alienated his Spur team mates when he was here? The same Avery who got in a fight with Malik Rose in the locker room? The same Avery who used to say "This is my team. (Insert Cajun accent".) The same Avery who Tim could not stand. The same Avery who alienated all of the Maverick players? The same Avery who had ran Iso plays and had Jason Kidd standing in the corner on the weak side?

That Avery Johnson? Man, where have you been? Did you ever think there was a reason Pop did not give him an extension when his last contract ran out?
