Charles Barkley hit a shot at the top of the key over David Robinson to win Game 6 of the Western Conf. semis 102-100. Phx won the series 4-2.

That was also the last time the Spurs would ever play a game in the late, great HemisFair Arena.

The last time SA lost an elimination game was only after they won two elimination games in that same series. If they do that this time (win two elimination games), they'll advance. (I guess I'm looking for positive spin.):downspin:

I do remember that we beat the Lakers in 04 when TD made that great shot from 17 ft with 0.4 secs left...that was an awesome series win that propelled us to our 3rd title against Detroit.

I still remember the sick feeling I had for days after that Game 7... like I had been trapped in my own personal hell thinking about Manu fouling Dirk over and over again and repeatedly asking "why!?"
