KZEP was really cool at start up, good sounds, good DJs, not too much BS, then the music changed. It was good in the late 80s..... then it just went sour. bring back the 70s ROCK AND ROLL !!!!!!

I would agree.....Winston and Alyce were fun in the morning and nice people off air too. :toast

I listen to them every morning; Winston and I go way back. We're both from El Paso and used to work at the same station. KZEP is okay---but I could do with a little less Rush and A LOT less Ozzy!

My kids love Bumper to Bumper in the afternoons. I've never been one to listen to one station over another really. I flip till I find a song I like and leave it there until a song that I don't like comes on, then I change it again.

KZEP was the one consistently good rock station in San Antonio growing up. KISS was good but wandered into nu-metal. 96 Rock wasn't around long enough.

But I left in 99, so I'm not up on San Antonio stations anymore.

But seriously ... "less Rush?" They need more Rush, and from the Grace Under Pressure, Signals, Hold Your Fire, and Test For Echo albums.

Classic rock for me means songs from 60's to 80's and maybe some 90's. Point is, that is ALOT of music to choose from, but in my opinion their playlist of songs is very small. I hear the same thing over and over.
