If there is a fix, at this point the NBA would select the Cavs. Why? Well, although the Celtics have a storied history, most NBA fans never saw them play when they were last winning. Think about it, this means just about everyone under age 30+. So, no one is impressed with all the "Celtic hype". What these fans are now seeing of the Celtics is not pretty. I am sure by now most of America is rooting against them and wants them out.

LeBron however, is fresh on everyone's mind. Kids, who watch TV and get their parents to buy them things they see in the commercials, want to see Kiing James.

It's all about marketing. LeBron now > Celtics of yesteryear in the $ department.
