I was on the Baton Rouge radio station today, and we brought up the idea of a bet between the hosts.

What should I bet?

So far the best idea was the loser of the bet, has to eat a pepper on air, and has to read a prepared statement by the winner on air without the aid of water.....

Any suggestions?

That sounds like a winning prize to me.

No dice.
Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, and have the videotape.

How would he stand out from the other 8 or 9 people that do that on any other night?

The problem is, that anytime I place a wager for the Spurs.
They get their ass kicked.

But, if they win, I stand to make about $3000 next month because of advertising revenue.

So, I should hedge the bet, and put about $1000 on the Hornets tonight. But I just can't bring myself to put that amount/or any amount against the Spurs.

If you are going to lose money if the spurs lose then it's not much of a bet but more buying insurance as long as you're ok with doing the work later for less money.

Sounds like you have the ying yang curse. Somewhere in the bizzarro world there is another Peter Burns who can't lose a bet. You need to put 10.00 dollars on the Hornets so the curse will take effect. Now put the other 990.00 dollars on the Spurs so the curse will actually work for you.

As far as the bet with the station you want to do something the listeners and web cam/youtube visitors can enjoy also. I would recommend the loser having to dance the macarena wearing a G string and a Spurs/Hornets jersey and host it on you tube.
