It might not go 6 if the Lakers win the first two...

Will Tim Duncan have the flue again for the first two games?

Spurs fans should remember 2005, when we won a tough Game 6 in Seattle that went down to the last shot and then had to travel to Phoenix, where they stole the first two. The Spurs have the edge at PG and down low, and Bowen and Udoka to throw at Kobe.

Kobe will teabag dirty bowen and Udoka shouldnt even be on the same court as Kobe.

If the last two games are any indication...

Spurs matchup better with the Lakers than they do with the Hornets. Of course, no ones stopping Kobe. And Pop is going to have to put someone on Odom besides Finley (I'd prefer Oberto). I think if we can come back from 0-2 and win on the road in Game 7 we can do anything, but the Lakers are really, really good and they have homecourt. Can't slack off on the road...

No you don't. Bowen at 37 is a joke guarding Kobe. Kobe was dropping 40 point games on him in the playoffs when Bruce was still somewhat young. Refs won't let him hack away. Lakers are a much better offensive team than Hornets. If the Spurs go on one of those long offensive droughts, they'll get blown out. :lol

Interesting matchup.

Kobe will run all over SA but at the same time LA doesn't have an answer for Ginobilli.

I liked the way Fish played Deron Williams but Parker brings a whole new set of problems but Fish won't be totally beaten by him.

I give a definte nod to Duncan over Gasol but if you look at their past records , for some reason Duncan doesn't dominate Gasol the way he should.
Duncan really isn't a physical player so I don't see him dominating Gasol in this series as well.
Another slight nod for SA in the center position.

Laker's deeper bench will definitely help.

Spurs will slow down the Lakers offense and hold them to about 95 to 100 ppg but while the Lakers D isn't going to awe anyone, it will keep the Spurs to about 90 ppg.

I predict a Laker victory in 6 (yes...in SA)
how's that for homerism? :)

Parker will run circles around Fisher and Lakers have no great interior defenders to stop him (and Manu). That'll be the difference-maker.

Kobe's great, but Bowen is a first-team all-NBA defender once again.

:wakeup Correction. We won the first 3 games against the Suns in 2005 before they won game 4. We wrapped it in 5 games. Spurs will be fine. The Lake Show just hit their shots when it counted the most. Game 2 will be different.:ihit

Bowen and Udoka are just twelve fouls wasted on Kobe. Neither one of them can even break Kobes stride...

Did you not watch game 1. Bowen did a great job. If Bowen stays in after that 3rd foul, Spurs win.

I love the use of the word IF. Let me give it a try.

IF the Spurs scored more than the Lakers, Spurs win.

I agree, Lakers in 6. My original prediction posted elsewhere is 2-2 after 4 with HCA stolen twice. Whoever wins game 5 wins in 6. This is where I pick LA.
