44 year-old John Franco joins a Houston team with 6 other players born in the '60s. (Clemens, Biggio, Vizcaino, Bagwell, O. Palmeiro, and Ausmus)

Do you make it a practice to call people "moron" that YOU don't know but many others do know? I think that's a fair question, BTW.

Palmeiro spent a good number of years with the Angels. He has a WS ring and he's a specialty player now...a very good pinch hitter and utility outfielder. I think the Astros liked his playoff performance and his left-handed pinch hitting skills, a role player most good teams have.

Although I'm more of a Texas Rangers fan now-adays, it was good to see the Astros get past the first round (Braves) and play the Cardinals toe-to-toe in the NLCS, even if that may be short-lived.

Palmerio is a damn good bench player.

IMO I would love to have him back instead of Roger freakin Cedeno.

yes, i do. and i guess that is implying that you know Orlando personally, perhaps you can set up a meeting between me and him so that i can judge his mental capacity.

ATLfan - you're better than that. There's a good person inside there somewhere.
