I loved this win. It showed a lot of grit and heart.
HOWEVER, if the Spurs, Tim and Tony in particular, play like this against the Lakers then we're toast. I was getting ready to rip my hair out in that 4th watching Tim miss shot after shot and watching Tony brick mid range J after mid range J (although he did hit a clutch one).
Tim needs to get his shit together and find that shooting touch again. Pau's length is going to make life hard on him so he needs to be able to consistently knock down those hooks, bankers, and turnarounds that we've seen him make all his career.
Again, love the heart and poise that this team showed tonight, but they'll need more than that to beat LA. They're going to need their stars to play like stars.
Oh and on a side note, hopefully this NO series marked Ime's coming out party. Dude was simply a monster.
