I still say TD because of his D and presence but most will say Parker, Manu was ok in the series, nobody was really great tonight.

Team MVP, or Pop for switching Bowen off onto Peja.

when the role guys made plays - the Spurs won. when they didn't - they lost.

props to Udoka/Finley/Thomas/Oberto.

I voted for Manu 'cause I'm BS and he was our leading scorer in the two elemination games but I'll not make a case for him.

For the series I will have to say CP3, but for the Spurs' side of things I would have to go with Ginobili.

This was a total team effort. Without everyone pulling together and doing their specific jobs we could and probably should have lost this series.

Game 7 to me was the culmination of the team manning up and putting the series away. Horry, Finley, Udoka, Thomas - the bench was great tonight.

Objectively, you'd have to say Manu, don't you? I mean, I don't think he was great. Nobody was all that good, but he did lead or tie for the team lead in scoring four games out of seven (including 6 & 7) and lead or tie for the team lead in assists five games out of seven.

21.3 ppg equals what he averaged in the Dallas series in '05-06 and is the most he's averaged in any series besides '04-05 when he averaged 22.8 vs. the Nuggets and 22.4 vs. the Suns. The 6.0 apg is a career high.

Pop was MVP. Somehow he coached them to a win in the series while all the players played sloppy ball with stupid fouls, too many silly turnovers.

Are you shitting me or what? TD, single handedly tried to give them the game, with all those lame ass shots he kept putting up in the 4th. WTF was he thinking? Why did he stop passing out and start trying to be a scorer? Just because Chandler was taking him one on one? Simply did not understand what the hell he was trying to do. But here's a tip. When you miss 6 in a row, quit fucking throwing the ball at the hoop and hope it goes in.

+1...Have to add also that Bowen/Udoka shutting down Peja was big. And Udoka added some much needed offense.

It's a tough pick. Maybe, just maybe "experience under fire" was the MVP in game 7.

Tony Parker for hitting that clutch shot that sealed the game and series for us.

I can't really make a case for any of the Big Three.

Duncan struggled mightily offensively. It was the worst offensive series of his life. Parker had his moments but wasn't MVP level. He just wasn't steady enough. Ginobili had pretty good stats ... but then again he had by far the easiest matchup of any player on either team. Ginobili better do good with Peja, Mr. 81, Pargo and Bonzi guarding him and the Hornets doubling off of him for much of the series. His low FG% and the fact that Peja went off against him in the first two games doesn't really make him an MVP candidate either.

Bowen? Eh, not really. He didn't have much of an affect against Paul and him shutting down Peja is pretty much par for the course.

It's gotta be just a team MVP or Pop for MVP. Then again, Pop f'ed up in the first two games so he doesn't really deserve it either :lol

Team MVP or give the MVP to Chris Paul.

i voted bowen, he is really to only spurs who was on his game night in and night out..i wouldnt forget about fab either....the spurs win on rebounding and smart play downlow...when fab chokes, we normally play bad...when fab doesnt choke we normally play good.....so heres to fab for not choking in game 7.....go spurs go

I don't see a spurs MVP for the series.
Ginobili and Parker had their moment, Bowen was perfect on Peja, Udoka was better than I could have imagine...

But my MVP is still Duncan despite some poor games...

The hornets had decided not to be killed by Duncan but he still managed to do his things and to deal with constant double or triple team... in the four wins he averaged 18.5pts/14.2 rbds/3.7 ast/2 blk shooting almost 50%.

By a short hair I keep him as our MVP

people need to remember that defense wins championships, and then they need to check out Peja's stats once Bowen was unleashed on him.
