Michael Collins thread. Buzz Aldrin was the second man on the moon, but since this is the THIRD thread on this, you get christened with the guy who never made it to the surface. He was the Command Module pilot.

As long as I'm part of the Spurs mission, I'm happy, even if I have to sit in the Command Module.

That would serisouly suck to fly all the way to the moon and have to "stay in the car" while the other 2 guys get to go out there. How did they decide I wonder. Rock, paper, scissors?

No matter how you cut it, it's not as fun bragging about something like that when you have to have your friends and family say in your defense "but how many people could ever say they've ever been.."

What a team player. "someone's gotta do it. It had to be me. " :depressed

New series, new trolls. Same old stuff. I find it amusing how each team we play brings another round of trolls who think they're saying things to us that we've never heard. We hear it every year, every round. Just the names change. It was fun in the game blog counting down as the Hornets trolls left and the Lakers trolls descended.

After game 2, the Hornets trolls flooding the place was insane!
I like how the Suns trolls were pretty much non-existent after game 1.
(Save for a few stragglers.) I hope the Spurs do the same favor for us in this Laker series.

Sources are now reporting that it was the new pilot
that made the decision to ground the plane.

It was decided when the crews were selected. One guy knew how to fly the CM, another the LEM and the third guy was just a car-pooler, I guess.

I guess this movie was a little old for some people.

Where have you been man? Aperently this has been on the board since like 2 AM.

I was asleep at 2AM. Got up, went to work, came home and read it. I'm pissed that no one bothered to call and tell me. Thanks a lot, fellow Spurs fans.

Some of us would prefer not to admit we're old enough to remember the movie. :)
