Shit, he produced like a mutha Friday night, Manu is burns himself out easily, especially when he's playing three games in four nights after playing what 45 minutes Friday.

OK ducks, enough is enough.

The entire Portland team shoots .540 and the only thing you mention is Manu? Not that it matters but he also hit two FTs to cut it to three, before the Spurs team defense gave up another 3.

Your borderline bashing the guy at this point. We know you like TP, but now its becoming evident your bashing him for the sake of trying to make TP look better.

(Awaits two/three worded response that makes no sense, or a simple "im just saying he is incosenseitent, not godd"

It's okay. Massenburg has never played for Portland, but more than half of the games remaining on our schedule are against Massenburg's former teams.

What about against Boston, Golden State, Minnesotta? All back to backs, and Manu had 20+ and over .500 shooting, while getting to the line. All of them were wins.

What was that about not producing on back to backs?

All the Spurs pretty much sucked. Massenburg wasn't that good of a matchup for the Blazers, but the real culprit of the lack of interior defense was Tim Duncan. He just didn't come to play and was scored on all night.

A couple more nights like this and I might start believing that Rasho means something :)

I don't think he would have made a difference tonight because he's not the type that would have hyped the Spurs up or anything. But we'll see. If the Spurs defense goes in the tank while Rasho is sidelined, I'll apologize to Rasho, TPark and anyone else with Slovenian ancestory.

I dont think thatll happen anytime soon.

I mentioned earlier, Rasho wasnt gonna get them hyped up, but a couple blocks here, a Rasho dunk there, who the hell knows.

I know Pryzbilla wouldn't have gotten 16 points and doubt digit rebounds with Rasho in the game.

Of course you are.

Its fact.

this is a much closer game, maybe a win, if Rasho plays.

Less interior points, less drives to the hole.

If they loose like this again, the haters will recognize.

I dont think the Spurs necessarily miss Rasho offensively, but I do think they miss his size on the defensive end. I still think if even Marks were out there, we may have been able to handle Pryzbilla a little more effectively. Rasho or Marks, (pronounced-"groucho marx")also could helped with shutting down the dunks from Miles and Patterson. This would have left Stoudamire guarded closely at the 3 instead of Parker doubling off him, considering he is hittin a high clip from there. The shit that pissed me off the most was Richie Frickin Frahm doing us like that. S.A. got outhustled and didnt come to play. Outhustled from jump and not mentally in sync on either end of the court. Looked like the classic "lookin' past a team" strikes again. Dang. Call me a hater but Rasho slows the team up, a mobile big is the best thing for the Spurs.

Sorry Slo, Rasho does his thing sometimes defensively and on the boards but his offensive prowess leaves alot to be desired. I'm really suprised there isnt a PRYZBILLA thread on the board being that there was a KAMAN thread on the board when Kaman had a good night against us.

Perhaps tonight he decided to take it out on the team that drafted him, then let him go.

I thought Marks' size alone could help control Miles instead of having freakin Malik on him. But nooo Pop doesn't let him play until it's too late.

Rasho would not have won the game for the Spurs. Maybe he would get a few blocks and a half dozen points and rebounds. How can you say he would have a dunk in that game when he doesn't even dunk once every other 4 games?

Of course you are.

It's a fact huh? What BS! You can't call fact on something hypothetical.

I wish Rasho could play. We needed him since nothing else seemed to work. We had to play Horry and he may have re-injured his knee because of it. We are thin upfront and missed Rasho's height in the lane. I don't know that Rasho could have stopped Pryzibla any. He had a number of jumpshots and was a very active player. Duncan didn't play very well defensively in allowing too many dunks and layups. I thought we were settling for too many outside shots late and needed more drives and dishes to atleast try and draw some fouls. The Spurs can be beat by any team when the can't hit their shots and their defense is slightly below average.

I never said theyd misss him offensively, theyd miss him defensively.

Defense wins rings.

User

he does other things other than block and rebound,

watch next time players go to the hole, how he blocks a defender out and giving a clear lane to Manu and Tony. Things you dont see normally that they are missing right now.

Pryzbilla, having a bigger longer guy in his face might not have made so many jumpers.

Ya never know.

T Park, you are a hypocrite. You made the excuse why Yao scored on Rasho because he made mostly jumpers. Look what you said about Rasho here:

Jump shot, jump shot jump shot.

One driving layup.

So what is Rasho supposed to do about jump shots?

Block em all??? He also made a fade away, what do you do about that?

I mean, User come on.

So now you say Rasho might make a difference against jump shots? Please! I wish Rasho could have played. The Spurs needed him. The Spurs played only average/slightly below average while Portland was much hotter than usual. That is why the lost.

Its the same with Yao. If hes making jumpers with Rasho in his face? Nothin you could do.

If Joel Prizbilla is making those shots with Rasho in his face?? Its just his night.
