Anybody who picks Rose will have a bust on their hands. He has skills but he's not a gamer.

Possibly so. But the Bulls might want the hometown star, and Beasley is no sure thing himself.

Rose looked pretty good taking UCLA out in the Final Four. If the Bulls draft Beasley, they might as well move Deng. Brook Lopez would be interesting... maybe they could pry Foye and the #3 from the Wolves for the #1.

A lot of people feel the same way about Beasley. All I know is they both are unstoppable when they have it going.

might trade pick and get a stud player now

Rose looked good against UCLA but I wanted to kick my TV watching him play in the Final. No sense of urgency, he looked lost out there and didn't look like he wanted to put the team on his back.

Beastly ain't a sure pick either I agree.

That wouldn't be a bad idea at all. The Bulls don't really need a young talented guy, they have plenty of them. They need a stud right now.

The the current team, they need Beasley. That Foye/#3 for #1 was a great suggestion, then take Lopez and look to trade Ben Gordon...

I'll take Deng, Gooden and #1. Otherwise it's not even close to being worth it.

I'm not even sure it's worth it here.

The Bulls would probably take that deal.

Deng has plateaued, and not very high.

Rose
Hinrich
Thomas/Sefolosha/Nocioni
Stoudemire
Noah

is a pretty decent roster.

chicago bulls are a joke ass team

incompetent fucks who cant draft for shit

just wait, they will trade it away or existing players who they cant keep....

look back at the players who have let go

brand, chandler, curry, artest, crawford, robinson.....
add deng or gordon to the list....

seriously they got all these mad kents who they shouldve kept and wouldve at least made them competitive

Well they have been saying for two years now that they need a low post scoring threat. Therefore I think they should get Beasley, and then package Thomas/Noah and Nocioni for a better outside shooter or PG if they think Hinrich can't do it.

You didn't read it right. They can draft Rose if their #1 overall is headed to Phoenix in the deal.

I think they'll pick Rose, but they don't need him. If Paxon pulls a deal out of his ass to get more experience on their team they could use the #1 to thier advantage.

I think they have to get a coach first before they can make this selection. Rose is the hometown boy, which is a big draw and he is really talented.

Hinrich tanked this year, so can he move to a backup role and/or become a SG?

Beasley would be a great choice for them, but then they need a coach who could manage a lot of emotional young guys out there. How soon until the first Noah/Beasley fight in practice? Ben Gordon will still want the ball in crunch time, but they might feed Beasley instead...

A lot of it I think will hinge on the new coach, his style, and his ability to play mediator, which obviously Skiles and Boylan were not able to do.

Brand's the only decent player out of that group. Chandler was a huge bust until he had Chris Paul giftwrapping alley-oops to him. Curry is dogshit. Artest completely destroyed a likely Finals team in Indy. Crawford is a dime-a-dozen shooting guard trapped in a point guard's body. Robinson? Do you mean Eddie Robinson? That guy turned out to be a bust after leaving Charlotte.

Beasley, and everyone else on the Bulls is very expendable. I'd bet that they take Rose, though.

I wonder where Marion will end up after the Heat draft Beasley and hand Marion a ticket out of Miami.

Hinrich has played a lot at shooting guard in the past - basically any time that he and Ben Gordon were on the floor together, he was off the ball. And if he can put up the numbers he did the year before last (16 PPG, 45%+, 40%+ from downtown, basically Joe Dumars production) he'll be just fine at the 2.

Ben Gordon will still want the ball in crunch time, but they might feed Beasley instead...
A perfect excuse to get rid of Gordon once and for all.

If they dont draft rose they would be stupid as fuck. I am sure they could trade hinrich for an expiring and a draft pick between 10-25

Any chance the Heat take O.J. Mayo if the Bulls select Rose, as Chad Ford is suggesting?

I think the Heat are banking on netting Brand via FA, so filling the PG or SG spot with Mayo makes some sense. He is the most ready-made wing prospect, even more ready than Rose, so he'll help them immensly pretty much from day one. I don't know if Miami can sign Brand to more than the MLE if they keep Marion, but if they can that would be pretty incredible.
