Where fixed games happen

My hate for the Fakers just grows every year. I think it is peaking coz now they have 2 guys who get all the calls

Spurs just choked the game away... the refs should never have had to affect the game... we let them back in and relax.. and we paid the price.

No Excuses. Even if it looked like it!

This was a pretty fairly called game given that the Lakers had home court. This was just a sorry 2nd half effort by the Spurs, it happens. I'm kind of used to it by now, and if you've followed the team for the last 6 years you should too.

when you lose a 20 pt lead to a 10 pt lead, on the road, the refs know the headlines

Probably better off running out the shot clock and hack-a-turiaf'ing when up by 20 :)

That late 3rd quarter Lakers run was huge.

The Spurs didn't choke. The Lakers took it away from them. They got outplayed.

You won't see a better reffed game than that all series long. I can guarantee you that.

Sadly, I agree with you...I honestly expect Bryant to get alot more calls going forward, warranted or not...That said, I thought some of the calls against the Spurs tonight were terrible, especially that out of bounds play that was clearly out on Odom...

Damn dinner and watches Kobe bought the rest of the team. It really slowed them down and helped them become lethargic coming out of the gate...

Yes the out of bounds call was bad, but the Spurs got a makeup call right back when Gasol got fouled on the dunk and then pushed out of bounds by Ginobli.

You can't complain about the refs. You really can't, they were as good as they are going to get this entire series. Trust me, I've seen Kobe and Lamar get WAY better treatment than that.

That's not saying much.

When Laker fan says the game was well reffed and fair, and that the Lakers could've gotten away with more, thats like a punch in the gut.

The faggot spurs won't win Game 2 and if they go down 0-2, they are not coming back, these are not the Hornets.

Duncan met him at the rim and had a good block... u have to let them play... but it looked like the ball went out of Manu to me anyway and we had the ball back so it may have evened out...

Dont matter... Spurs just ran out of gas and Lakers stepped it up and we lost..

You can see what we had to deal with in Denver fans.

People, you can't focus on one play/foul and put the whole game on it. You have to look at the whole enchilada.

I know the loss hurts, but come on.

Reminiscent of the Lakers-Spurs old rivalry of 2000, 2001 and 2003.

Dominating the Lakers in the playoffs for the first 3 quarters only to get their hearts ripped out of their chest in the 4th.

Same old Spurs!!

Some things never change!

"Kobe, he was doing a trust-his-teammates thing in the first half," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "That's why he had five assists, and he was checking it all out and see where his territory was going to be. In the second half, he went to work.

"Obviously a difficult loss and we had a great opportunity. We didn't take advantage of it. Hurts like hell."
