His record will be 0-1 when Game 1 of a playoff series is gift wrapped for his team.

Do Phoenix fans have anything else to do after their team performs their ritualistic epic fail every year?

Can throw those records out when it is still a mathematical possiblity.. I remember Phil Jackson never lost a series leading 3-1 either.. before 2006.

Wow, owned huh? Your team just choked away a 20 pt. lead and the Lakers have a 1-0 lead, so who's owned?

LOL @ 40-1, you havent played a championship calibur player like Kobe Bryant this season. Your old washed up team will be exposed like they were tonight. This was your game and you blew it. 40-0

Kobe is just getting warmed up.

I remember Phil Jackson never lost a series leading 3-1 either.. before 2006.Remember he had Smush Parker & Kawame Brown starting that year, which have been replaced by Derek Fisher & Pau Gasol in the starting lineup - that's like D-league vs. NBA - 41-0

Many people like to make this point, but it is based more out of dislike for the Lakers and or Phil and not based on reality, that reality begs the question "What did the coaches prior to Jackson do with these players?" Answer, ZERO titles!

So now you can say it is 41-0 and the Lakers are 38-2 when winning the first two games, and San Antonio is 0-7 when down 3 game to 1.

Better yet is the fact that he has advanced the Lakers to the NBA finals without Shaq, Horry, Shaw, Grant, Harper, etc...and a host of others who won 3 consecutive titles in the most competitive year in Western Conference
history. Add to that they have the best home and road record in these playoffs.

A resonable fan could accept this and if it were the Spurs and Pop who had that history, I would have as much respect for them as I do now.

so what??

every record will be break in one day...

Simply not true, there are records that will not be broken, which is what I believe you meant to say. Wilt has 5 of them at least;

Most points in a game - 100

Highest single season scoring average - 50.4
By a rookie 37.6

Highest single season rebound average - 27.2

Most rebounds in a game - 55

Longest single season win streak - 33 Lakers 1971-1972

Most consecutive NBA Titles - 8 Boston Celtics 1958-59 thru 1965-66

These are just a few that will stand the test of time.
