So we could put Sato or L. Johnson III and see what they can do.

I dont think they expected Horry to miss 5 games
LJ III is still recouperating from his injury/surgery
Sato is more of SG than a PF/C

Great idea, let's put Horry on the IL and activate a guy with a healing stress fracture!

We would never loose another game!

If HOrry reinjured the knee, he more than likely will be going to the IR.

If so, the two best defensive front line guys on the team are both gone for extended periods of time.

Wasn't the dislocation on the left knee, and he got banged @POR on the right knee?

I know sato is only like 6'5" but doesn't he have a wing span of 7' he looked pretty good is summer league.

My guess would be that Horry wasn't really hurt that badly.

. . . . but then again, I've never, ever convinced myself that Popovich has an agenda other than winning games; so believing tripe like my guess would probably be just drinking the kool-aid.

Either Horry has turned into a wimp or he's extra fragile. Over the last month, he's been injured about 10 times. This latest injury isn't even related to the last injury.

Something is wrong.

Why would they put him on IR?

Pop said that Horry was completely recovered from the first injury and could have played in Sacramento, but Pop held him out. The injury he sustained last night was completely unrelated.
