who's theorizing? facts are facts. my team has no shortcomings other than the fact that they wont cheat to win, but i consider that a strength.
What facts? You haven't done anything but ignore logic and spout dogma.
How about the only facts that matter -- this trade met all league requirements and both sides were satisfied with the outcome. The Lakers got a legitimate second option, and the Grizzlies got right of a contract that was crippling their growth.
ANd it happened a year ago, which should have given you plenty of time to get the sand out of your vagina.

jerry west requested of heisley that he hire failure of a gm chris wallace to replace him. jerry scratched wallaces back, what did wallace do for jerry?? just sayin. just cause jerry's not on the payroll doesn't mean he's got nothing to do with it
if EVERYTHING is manipulated then people with catch on. you manipulate just enough so that you achieve your desired result often enough then people might not catch on. la fans are stupid delusional sheep, fat and happy sheep, but stupid and delusional.
If you actually believe this crap that you're pushing, then why do you even bother watching the NBA at all? I mean, you're pretty much putting it on the same level as pro wrestling, so what's the point?

was the trade lop-sided? unfair to the rest of the league? a slap in the face to fans? deflating to teams who have spent years trying to build championship teams the right way? legal?

lol are there millions of other teams? delusion * everyone's doing it! *
Pop bitched about the trade like the day it happened. Just because you only logged on to lakersground and espn.com that day doesnt mean everyone else wasnt calling bullshit
I never even went to Lakerground until a few weeks ago. I haven't been back. If Pop was bitching about the trade from day one, show me the posts here to back up what you say, then I'll eat my words. If memory serves me, he didn't moan until the Lakers started winning with Gasol.
Mid season acquisitions are often key to a team getting to the next level. In 2004, Detroit acquired Rasheed Wallace and played like the best team in the league the rest of the way. Even the Spurs helped the Lakers back in 1987, giving us a former #1 overall pick named Mychal Thompson. We won the title that year.
You brought this thread back, why? I suspect sour grapes, the trade made the Lakers better than the Spurs.
I like you as a poster, the most solid minded Lakerfan on this board, but sorry.. No. A good trade is supposed to benefit both teams, like an old scale - the pieces on either side must be even. The Grizzlies were not planning on the future with the pieces they received, in fact, they are all gone now except for the picks if I;m not mistaken, and Marc of course. So you say Salary Dumping? That should not be allowed, too one sided and bad for the League, just because its your team that got the benefit shouldn't cloud your judgment.
Well, I can't add anything here that hasn't been said already, so I will just say I appreciate your kindness and respect for me. The analysis of the pieces is debated and the future will decide it. The only thing I will add is the trade back in 1981 where the Warriors traded Robert Parish and a #1 draft pick (who became Kevin McHale) for Joe Barry Carroll. Also, if you look at the Dallas/New Jersey Kid trade last year, the Mavs gave up 2 first round picks. Doesn't it seem obvious now, they should have received 2 first round picks instead? NJ will make out for years to come on that deal.

It's been my experience on message boards that whenever one reverts to emoticons, they've either run out of substantive arguments, or they never had one to begin with.
I mean, if you're going to stoop to that level, why not use them on yourself for comparing the O.J. Simpson trial to a basketball trade. Because at this point, it pretty much sums up your whole argument -- a big joke.
Now, I'm not expecting you as a Spurs fan to like the trade. Far from it. If I was in the same boat, and I'd just seen my most hated opponent close a deal that just might have effectively closed our window as a championship contender, I would be pretty pissed off, too.
But I dare anybody with at least a marginal IQ to look at my original post, read it as objectively as possible, and not acknowledge that it makes perfect sense. And it does because, well, that's pretty much the way it went down.
If it makes you feel better to think otherwise, and come up with excuses, and to depict the NBA as some evil conglomerate aimed at fucking small-market teams out of their just rewards, feel free.
Just know that me, and millions of other Laker fans have pretty much the same reaction when we think about that trade -- our faces split into huge fucking smiles, and we thank Mitch Kupchak for re-building a championship contender on the fly.
Whether it pays off in a ring, who knows? We all better get our business done quick, because once Cleveland signs a second All-Star in 2010, we're all going to be playing for second anyway.
Until then, I'll at least take solace in the fact that Tim Duncan and Gregg Popovich are going to spend the remainder of their careers getting their asses kicked by the Lakers.

To anyone who uses the 'salary dump' argument: the Grizzlies could have accomplished a salary dump and still received much more in return (higher draft picks). The Lakers were not the only team with expiring contracts.
As for Marc Gasol, he is better than they knew he was at the time of the trade. He's still not nearly what Pau is. At the time of the trade, he was generally regarded as a scrub (one draft website I looked at yesterday had Splitter rated at 4 stars out of 6. Marc was given a 1 star rating).
It's bad enough larger markets can outspend smaller ones in terms of salary, along with Nike and other sponsors encouraging players to go to larger markets (offering double the endorsement money). When those same teams also use collusion to grab other teams' franchise players for nothing, how are small markets supposed to compete with that? It's ridiculous.
HarlemHeat37
01-26-2009, 03:25 PM
some bad arguments on both sides..
the fairness of the Gasol trade will come down to a few factors..it'll depend on the careers of Marc Gasol and Darrell Arthur, and it'll depend on who the Grizzlies get through free agency in the next 2-3 years..it'll also depend on whether or not the Lakers win a title..that's what it comes down to at the end, and that's it..
right now it's obviously a lopsided deal, and it's obvious that the Lakers benefited, as usual..when you're a fan of the NBA, you have to deal with a few unfair issues..you have to deal with Lebron and Wade getting favorable calls..you have to deal with the Lakers getting away with shit through the L..any Laker fan can admit that their team gets treated better by the NBA, and I think it's obvious..they benefit from players demanding to go to the Lakers on draft day, they've benefited from their location to attract free agents, and it's been like this forever..this is the same franchise that benefited from the worst officiated game in NBA history, that led to a title in 2002..
I give respect to Laker fans when they deserve it..there are a few good Laker fans here, like Allanon and Lakers_55(off the top of my head), but they are generally the worst fanbase on the internet, due to the large amount of bandwagoners and blind Kobe homers that tend to cheer for their team..Laker fans are the most insecure fanbase in the NBA, and it's obvious in most of their posts(again, not all of them, but the majority based on my experience)..they'll go to extreme lengths to defend their teams, often ignoring facts and logic..
when you mention the rigged(not officially, of course..but obvious to anybody that watched the game) Kings-Lakers game 6, they'll bring up some alleged bad calls in other games of the series, which are never mentioned by anybody other than their fanbase..at the time of the Donaghy allegations, a youtube search of that series had clips of EVERY game, except for the game 6..obviously..
blind Kobe homers are known to go as far as making up facts about the Shaq era, including having the balls to say that Kobe had as much of an impact as Diesel did..
Laker fans are also known to defend Kobe allegedly raping a woman, and defending the fact that Kobe told the police information about Shaq for absolutely no reason..both sickening acts..it's not a surprise that Laker fans are such insecure people..the fact that they cheer for a rapist is disgusting, and they should all be disgusted at themselves..I don't know how they can look in the mirror..

Since the Lakers moved to LA they haven't won a single title without gifting of players, Wilt, Shaq, Kareem, Kobe refusing to sign with anyone else, Gasol should they win another. Spurs maneuvered to free up cap space and still couldn't sign an impact. That's why, as an organization, the Spurs four championships I think are more impressive than all the Lakers titles combined.

just like your argument about the gasol trade
You remind me of boxing fans trying to explain that HW boxing really is not fixed.
The Gasol trade was akin to the Oberto, Vaughn and a second round pick for David Lee nonsense that is bandied around here. Prima facia, its stupid and Lee isn't the player that Gasol is.
I cannot fault the Lakers for accepting it but in baseball for example the commiisoner can and has shot down trades like that. It is titled as in the best interests in baseball. Well in basketball best interest translates into big market so I don't see Stern ever doing anything unless its say the Bucks.
But really at somepoint don't you feel like your cheering for the house at a casino?

Yes but first you'd have to learn the secret magic spell that guarantees you will get the top pick even though you did not have the worst record in the league. Otherwise it wouldn't really be worth the risk, especially if the #2 pick is Keith Van Horn...

This thread is hilarious. Spurs fans whining about the Gasol trade (which was really unfair, but oh well), when the only reason their franchise has won anything is because they tanked to land Duncan. Or landing Finley for nothing because the Mavs bought him out...that was really fair. Or trading Barry for Thomas, and then resigning Barry...that's fair too huh?
More power to those that can get over is what I say. I mean, isn't that what we want our GM's to do? I don't see Pop turning down landing Gasol for crap if he had a shot to do it.

I'm one of the Spurs fans that wasn't mad about the Gasol trade, LA gave up a good amount..but like I said, Laker fans are extremely sensitive, defensive, and insecure..
they obviously know the flaws of their franchise..most of them are bandwagon fans that conveniently became Laker fans during the Shaq era, or during Showtime..they realize their franchise has benefited heavily from players demanding to go to LA on draft night, or signing with LA due to location and reputation they've gotten from all of this..they obviously realize they received a title in 2002 due to probable rigging, they idolize a rapist that attempts to get a teammate that brought him 3 titles in trouble with the law..
among other players, 2 of the main players Laker fans have idolized are a rapist/snitch, and an adulterer with HIV..just disgusting..these are the types of people you find at Laker games..people that condone this stuff..well outside of mindless celebrities that couldn't name a Laker outside of Kobe and "that tall, ugly, Spanish guy"..and gangbangers of course..gang banger that jump innocent fans at games because they're wearing a Celtics jersey..
tanking is a myth..David Robinson being out is a better reason..nothing to indicate tanking, and the #1 pick is never guaranteed either way..bad argument..

Actually I can blame officiatin. You guys were allowed to play physical and we were not. Especially with Duncan in the block. Hip checking to the sideline was consistent. We got open looks and missed them. Oh well.
I am not blaming the trade for ahit. We were in tath game in the first half and had we hit those 12 open threes you guys gave up we would have won. We missed our shots and you made yours. Oh well.

There is also a thread in BBall Central about Gasol going to Chicago in December of 07, and I read elsewhere Phoenix was inquiring to Memphis about him in January of 2008.Do you understand how incriminating those statements are? The reason that everyone is calling collusion is that when the time came to actually make the trade, neither Chicago nor Phoenix nor ANYBODY ELSE among the numerous other teams interested was even given a chance to make an offer. The Bulls easily would have topped what the Lakers gave up.

Meh, this topic is so sour grapes, move on. Pop made his comments, then the collusion posts hit the internet en masse. Your revelations didn't even cause a stir.
Did it occur to you that maybe Chicago and Phoenix made offers that the Grizzlies weren't interested in and were thusly turned down? Or maybe the Laker offer was better? Your opinion of better doesn't count, the jury is still out on the future Memphis got. It's easy to say any team could make a better offer after a trade was made. The fact is, they didn't. It's the reverse of the concept of a contract going to the lowest bidder. Once you've bid, you can't lower it when you lose out on the deal.
Dream on, I've seen it all here. 0.4 that should have been 0.8. Barry traveling before Fisher fouled him, (and the NBA dropping the ball saying a foul should have been called), Stern makes the Lakers win. Refs are in the Laker pocket. Yet somehow, the fact that Donaghy reffed series that the Spurs won get overlooked and laughed at when a Phoenix fan complains about it.
I try to be fair here, but really, you guys need to get a grip on reality. My team can't win every year, but history proves they'll be in the mix consistently. Look at your team, second only to mine in that department.
Act like men, like the players you emulate. Quit being little bitches about everything that doesn't go your way. It's all old news. Or go out and actually prove the conspiracies you hold so dear. Then, you will have a serious audience. I am done here. See my reply above to the OP about arguing, idiots, and intelligence.

noone is jealous, no spurs fans are bitching. we have as much chance of winning as any other team this year. We just want to make sure that you, as a laker fan, knows that the gasol trade was bullshit and gives the lakers an unfair advantage. simple. can you comprehend this?

When did "causing a stir" become part of the criteria?
Tonight, I guess, after your original statement was proven wrong.
Did it occur to you that maybe Chicago and Phoenix made offers that the Grizzlies weren't interested in and were thusly turned down? Or maybe the Laker offer was better? Your opinion of better doesn't count, the jury is still out on the future Memphis got. I agree, my opinion doesn't count. Especially when compared to one such as yours. And neither does this guy's, either:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-heisleygasol060308&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Still, it hasn’t stopped a rampant anger around the league that this wasn’t so much of a trade, as much as it was the word that Bryant himself used: a “donation.” Privately, the Lakers were thrilled that they were able to keep negotiations with the Grizzlies quiet because Los Angeles officials were blown away that they could get Gasol for so little.
One source with knowledge of the process said the Bulls had made the most credible offer. For Gasol and Memphis’ Hakim Warrick, the Bulls were willing to part with Andres Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas, Joakim Noah, Thabo Sefolosha, possibly Adrian Griffin and draft picks.
Well, that Jarvis Crittendon sure turned out to be a winner, didn't he? And Kwame Brown, what a steal! Aaron McKie??? Say no more!!
And with Jerr. . ., err, I mean Chris Wallace running the team, those draft picks are gold!
Dream on, I've seen it all here. 0.4 that should have been 0.8. Barry traveling before Fisher fouled him, (and the NBA dropping the ball saying a foul should have been called), Stern makes the Lakers win. Refs are in the Laker pocket. Yet somehow, the fact that Donaghy reffed series that the Spurs won get overlooked and laughed at when a Phoenix fan complains about it.Wow, those are all certainly credible arguments legitimizing the Gasol trade.
See my reply above to the OP about arguing, idiots, and intelligence.Yes, well, with such a intellect wielding such powerful arguments legitimizing the Gasol trade, it's no wonder you're exasperated by puny old us.

I'm not against the Gasol trade, LA gave up a decent amount..it was definitely a product of bad GMing..but it's obviously questionable for the present..also for the fact that Jerry West was still close with the Grizzlies front office, and for the fact that Kobe had demanded a trade in the off-season..
LOL..both Kareem and Kobe asked to be in LA..
Wayne Embry wrote in his book:
"Finally, Kareem spoke his mind. 'I am unhappy in Milwaukee, and I want to be traded when the season is over,' he said. 'I am not culturally satisfied here. I'd like to go to New York, Washington, or Los Angeles. I am telling you now so you can get something for me, rather than sitting out my option year and then signing with one of those teams or the Nets of the ABA.'...My first response was to try to talk him into staying in Milwaukee. I asked a series of rapid-fire questions: 'Do you want more money? Are you unhappy with the coach or with me? Are you dissatisfied with your teammates? What can we do?' He assured us none of those things was a problem, and he was not going to change his mind. He wanted out."
it's also known that Kobe asked to go to the Lakers on draft night, and he was the main prospect Jerry West was coveting..the Lakers have benefited with shit like this more than any other team, and it's not even close..

That trade was bs its equivalent to the spurs being able to trade Matt Bonner for Dirk Nowitzki or Amare Stoudemire. That definitely would change the whole power balance of the league. There is nothing you can do about it it happened just like that timeless phrase it is that it is sums up the phantom trade. To me it doesn't really matter I'm through with the NBA once Duncan retires. I hate the current generation of players not just the Lakers but the majority in this league are a bunch of overpaid arrogant assholes, plus the refs are pretty shitty and hold grudges, factor in rule changes to help perimeter players become untoucheable because if you are allowed 90's defense to be played they would have a difficult time cracking over 20 points.

As a Lakers fan, I absolutely love these Gasol trade threads. They all say one thing and one thing only: damn it, Lakers are back... that's just so unfair.
Seriously, Sunday's game hurt some of y'all badly, didn't it. Hey, I know what it's like... been there. You started off watching the game thinking "hell ya, we're gettin' screwed by the refs but we're up by 1" by the end of the 1st quarter. Half time comes and you're thinking "ok, we're getting zero calls, haven't played well, but we're still only down by six... we won the last one, we're still here... we can do this." Then, the unfortunate happens. Midway through 3rd quarter it dawns on you... "fuck, we're done." By the start of the 4th, the realization solidifies... "shit, they're owning us... the string is over... unless we get some talent in here, this ain't good... but we ain't got shit to trade w/out breaking up the big 3... fuck, we're done."
At the same time, the Lakers -- those hated Lakers -- have so much talent they can't even figure out a way to play it all. They've got a young Center not even close to figuring it out and putting it all together that can still impact games against the best, i.e. the Spurs. They've got a PF -- the dreaded "stolen" PF -- who just also happens to be one of the better centers in the league playing backup C. They've got a 6'11" PF that started on a finals team coming off the bench, another young stud making nothin' who's starting to ball his ass off coming off the bench, and shooters just rusting away on the pine. Oh, and they've got "that" guy. You know... the "rapist." Sure, they might not make it to the Finals this year, or if they do they might not win it (you can always hope). But, they've got so much talent and flexibility that they can make moves, and they'll damned well will be serious contenders for at least the next several years... probably more.
And, as it looks now... the Spurs won't... which is exactly what this thead is about. So, keep 'em coming... let the bitching commence.
By the way, Memphis shed Pau's $49 mil remaining salary (which L.A. was willing to pay, something the "other" teams with expirings "weren't" willing to do), and picked up essentially 3 1st rounders (counting Critt) and a damned serviceable Center for a competitive price of... 1 GAME. As of 1/25 last year, they were 12-31. As of 1/25 this year... 11-32. Not a bad business move.
"They're young, athletic, long, deep -- they've got an inside game, an outside game, and they're going to be a hell of a team for a long time to come," Popovich said before retreating to his office, which Sunday doubled as a bunker against unpleasant reality.
If reading/hearing people whine about the Pau trade is the only price to pay to read quotes like the prior from the Spurs coach, then it's a price well worth it.
Commence bitching!

Prune my account, ban me and my IP address, I don't give a rats ass.Why would you get pruned or banned?
Let the true fans of this board see how fucking biased you guys are towards anyone that even likes the Lakers. It's a Spurs fans job to dislike the Lakers. And vice versa. And Laker fans are given as much voice here as a Spurs fan. I'm not sure how much more of an even playing field you are wanting.
You let this bitterness get in the way of being a great board. I used to think you were, but when the site owner rags on decent people, it's not. That wasn't much of a "rag". Pointing out someone being owned isn't much of anything. And again, you were "ragging" on me before I even came into the thread.
The place has ceased to be fun for me. To the friends I made here, sorry it has to end this way, I enjoyed you all and what you had to say.This Gasol topic has been played out. But you have to expect both sides of the debate to be emotional. For the Spurs, the "questionable" trade has made it much harder to add to their trophy collection. For the Lakers, the legitimacy of the trade could tarnish their current success if collusion is indeed proven.
Anyways, I don't see anything for you to quit the board about. I'll apologize for singling you out as getting owned in the exchange if you wish.

Yeah, dream on little man. I said it before recently, I'll say it again. I go to a board and contribute and end up getting accepted. Then, dumbasses like you try and knock me off my so-called pedestal. I end up getting in fights and just move on, and that's what I am doing here.
I don't care what you think, I don't care what you type in response to this, because I am never coming back to this board.
I owned you pretty badly already when you claimed you started the collusion stuff about this trade. Did I rub it in? Fuck no. Anyone with common sense knows I am right here.

What's this thread about? It's about the Lakers are now better than the Spurs. We made a good deal and passed you up, that's what it's all about.
I consider you have done me a favor, I encourage all other Laker fans to just pack up and leave this place as well. We know we are the better team now, and we will prove it again this year. Let the Spurs fans dream on in peace, and argue amongst themselves.
Are my feelings hurt? No, I can man up to anything. I came here to see the other point of view on basketball. All I see are children.
Wow. I should read the NBA forum more often (I assume that's where this guy usually posts?) He has nearly a thousand posts here and I didn't see any of them until this meltdown retirement post. :wtf

Commence bitching!
spurs won't be serious contenders the next few years? :rolleyes I'm pretty sure we'll be ok.

No you're not, and you know it. One word signifies the Spurs club right now: uncertainty. Y'all are pretty sure of nothing.
Face it, that 1st through 4th quarter run down I gave was SPOT THE FUCK ON! I know, cuz I've been there. Sucks!
On the bright side, Spurs ownership built one helluva organization. Top to bottom class and professionalism with a single minded goal: WIN! Any idiot that doesn't respect your organization or your core players is a fucking clown!
Yet, you ARE in a tough spot, whether you want to admit it or not (and most of y'all know it). Spurs don't have enough to get it done unless they play perfect (still might not be enough), and they don't have much to trade... period! Tough spot! Unless mgmt. pulls a rabbit out its arse, it could be very tough to re-tool... could very well be the end of an era.
Many Spurs fans probably came to that realization Sunday... after a lowly reg. season game. It's the main reason some are walking around muttering "Fucking Lakers... fucking Gasol... fucking NBA... fuck!" If it weren't the case, I doubt seriously there'd be any "Gasol Trade" threads on this board.
Hell, at least you're fans of a great organization... there's hope. Could be worse... could live in Memphis.

people claim that you cannot justify a champion without a full nba regular season... the season had back to back to back games with hardly any breaks in between which can put a strain on older players i.e. Utah Jazz... a completed season with timely rests and breaks can determine a team depth, strength, and chemistry. also it can evenly determine who get HCA. technically Miami from the east should have made it to the finals of that year instead of knicks whom were an 8th seed

people claim that you cannot justify a champion without a full nba regular season... the season had back to back to back games with hardly any breaks in between which can put a strain on older players i.e. Utah Jazz... a completed season with timely rests and breaks can determine a team depth, strength, and chemistry. also it can evenly determine who get HCA. technically Miami from the east should have made it to the finals of that year instead of knicks whom were an 8th seed
The Spurs had a good amount of older/AGING vets and it didn't effect them so much...they even beat up on a younger more talented team in the Blazers. Hmm, guess they were just better prepared/coached than most of the other teams that year, including the Lakers.

Who gives a shit? It was a shortened season, they decided to play it out, and Spurs won.
The asterisk bullshit is old and worn... almost as much as the Gasol trade crying. Spurs were champs... Gasol's a Laker... the rest is transparent, whiny bullshit.

avery johnson and david robinson were your only oldest players
Half of the team was retired within 2 years. You forgot Mario Elie, Sean Elliott, Jaren Jackson, Will Perdue, and Jerome Kersey. The only players under 30 who were in the rotation were Duncan and Rose.

some of you guys need to chill out though..don't get too mad about these Laker fans..just think about the fact that you guys are arguing with people that actually CHEER for A RAPIST..just chill out, and think about that for a second..you would have to be a pathetic human being to cheer for a rapist..let alone an adulterer with HIV..I'm embarrassed to even post in the same forum as these people..
I don't know these people personally, so I can't hate them as people...I have a number of friends that are Laker fans as well, and I obviously like them since they're my boys..but I can't respect their morals if they cheer for the harm of women, and the spreading of a fatal disease..
I cheer for the name on the front of the jersey 1,000 times more than I do the name on the back.

Daniels wasn't part of the playoff rotation. Kerr was the team's main backup PG. AD got very few meaningful minutes that whole run other than a stretch in the first half of game 3 of the Finals when the rest of the team played like crap.

VEGETARIAN MOROCCAN STEW
PREP TIME 15 Min
COOK TIME 25 Min
READY IN 40 Min
Servings: 6
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 yellow onion, diced
* 4 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 teaspoons ground cumin
* 1 (4 inch) cinnamon stick
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1 pound butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cut into 2-inch cubes
* 4 large red potatoes, cut into 2-inch cubes
* 2 cups vegetable broth
* 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
* 1 (14.5 ounce) can canned diced tomatoes with their juice
* 1 cup pitted, brine-cured green olives
* 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
* 1 who gives a fuck
* 1 3/4 cups water
* 1 (10 ounce) box uncooked couscous
* 6 tablespoons plain yogurt
* 6 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat olive oil in a large covered saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat, until oil is hot but not smoking. Drop in the onion, garlic, cumin, cinnamon stick, and salt and pepper. Cook and stir for 5 minutes, until onion is tender and translucent.
2. Stir in the butternut squash and potato cubes, broth, garbanzo beans, and tomatoes, and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, cover the pot, and simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the squash and potatoes are tender. Remove the stew from heat, and stir in the olives and lemon zest.
3. In a large saucepan, bring 1 3/4 cup water to a boil. Stir in couscous. Cover and remove from the heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork; cool. Serve stew over cooked couscous. I can't believe you're actually reading this shit! Garnish each serving with a dollop of yogurt and a sprinkle of cilantro leaves.

I lived in LA from 63-66. I didnt like the Lakers then. I dont mind the Lakers now, except for Kobes love for being a butt head. There a fun team to watch when we play them. Or when the play against Boston. The Lakers remind me of our Spurs of ole. We had the talent on the court and on the bench. Add to that a coach who holds his own.
