View Full Version : Is Kurt Thomas so bad that Horry is really the better option right now?

Horry's not doing anything on offense or defense. Did Thomas hit on Popavich's wife?

I told you Thomas will not make a big difference.

As long as he doesn't have a negative impact on the game it would be an improvement over Horry.

Thomas is necessary if Gasol starts blowing up. Right now, Gasol hasn't been a serious threat yet.

What the team needs is outside shooting (or at least the threat of outside shooting); Pop obviously thinks Horry can provide that. Besides, if we learned anything from the Hornets series, it's that the Spurs offense suffers tremendously with Thomas playing.

No way Thomas can play any worse than what Horry is.

I'm all for giving Bonner a shot. He hits his open shots at least.

Horry was throwing up some of the ugliest looking shots tonight.

The team doesn't have a lot of options. Kurt can't play all 48 minutes. So who plays behind him? Oberto? Bonner?

I think Thomas can defend Gasol, I think that was at least half the reason we traded for him...but we're defending him just fine without Thomas, so if you can get the d without that bad offense, you go with that. Horry is not giving us any better offense right now, but at least he's stretching the D...they'd just be daring Thomas to shoot and packing it in on Duncan.

Man I don't think I have EVER seen Horry shoot this bad! EVER!!! I mean how many bricks does a person have to shoot to be taken out?

Thomas is not needed for now, Gasol did shit tonight. Kurt can't regularly hit his shots
