Christopher Guest and his entire ensemble.

My vote is for the Abrahams and the Zuckers. But I forgot to include Matt Stone and Tre Parker in this. They are a very close second.

Naked Guns series
Airplane!
Top Secret
Kentucky Fried Movie

All of those are classics.

You didn;t like White Chicks?

You didn;t like White Chicks?

That shit is unwatchable. The Scary Movie series is also a total wast of fucking film. I'd rather watch Bring It On than watch any of those movies.

You didn't see them because they didn't write or direct any flicks. Sure they starred in Cannonball Run I and II but they had nothing to do with those flicks.

If they had more than 2 funny movies out I would've mentioned them.

Funt was right on with Chris Guest; but what about Cheech and Chong? Also John Cleese and Michael Palin from Monty Python.

Seriously, beerfest>>>>>knocked up/superbad combined. This poll would have been better if the people could be represented.

atxrocker

actually for the record, superbad was pretty funny overall, but knocked up was a huuuuge dissapointment. a fucking drama with a couple of comedic scenes.

Cheech and Chong were eliminated because of the Corsican Brothers and Get Out of my Room.

And Monty Python never made anything even remotely close to funny.

Well then what kind of retarded poll is this?! You should have called it "Poll of Who Likes the Same Comedy Movie Teams As the Reverend Midge"!!! Sheesh.

I'm just stating my opinion. If you wish to vote for "other" go ahead and do so and make your argument.

Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz)could also be listed.

If you would consider Mel Brooks to have a crew (Sid Ceasar, Gene Wilder) then yes, I would consider that the best comedy film team. But, if not, then I would also agree with Christopher Guest (This is Spinal Tap, Best in Show)

You are European so you are biased when it comes to Monte Python.

Monty Python are fucking hilarious.

Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg are a good suggestion.

Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson could have also been on the list.

My vote is a multi-tiered "other."

+1. Get back to me when the other teams have been doing it for decades.

Hasn't Adam Sandler made essentially the same movie for the last 6 or so releases?

You forgot to include The Frat Pack. Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Steve Carrell, Luke Wilson and Jack Black. Apatow Production has made some funny movies over the years (40 Year Old Virgin and Superbad are the funniest in my opinion). But I think the Frat Pack makes those movies you can watch over and over and they're still just as good. Like Zoolander, Old School and Anchorman. I can't count how many times I've seen those. Wedding Crashers and Dodgeball were also good.

How come this rule doesn't apply to Adam Sandler?

Because Happy Madison Productions put out Grandma's Boy, Joe Dirt and Duece Bigelow.

Not necessarily Adam Sandler movies but they are Happy Madison movies.

Duece Bigelow?

Joe Dirt is brilliant comedy.

Deuce Bigelow some people find to be hilarious. I don't necessarily like all the movie teams I listed, I was just trying to think of different movie teams.

I had to vote for the Apatow crew because they brought funny back.

Comedies had been kind of lame before them, although Broken Lizard had already revived the comedy scene.

But, Abrahams and Zucker made some great classics.

Oh yea, Monty Python was genius.

The Life Of Bryan is a fucking classic film.
