When down 0-2, most teams can win Game 3 on emotion. Game 4 is the game the Spurs need to get to start this series all over again. One more win and then the Spurs might be on to something.

Oh and this is a Spurs fan only thread. Any Laker Fan gets automatic 24 hour vacation.

Thanks.

If Spurs win ez, i can see this ending 4-2 for us.

Agreed. The next two games are going to be the biggest test for the Spurs. I expect the Lakers to establish Odom very early in Game 4 and Fisher is not going to go scoreless with 1 assist again.

Spurs need to continue with the ball movement and defense they showed tonight.

Get 1.

I agree. Also the point of before tonight it was an aberration, but after tonight, theres something there.

I love this team when it's forced into do or die situations. That said, Kobe is good enough to steal a victory on the road against any team. Gotta play even better in Game 4.

Kobe is just sick. I'm sounding redundent here, but honestly, when he started the 4th quarter scoring what 9 points in under a minute, I honestly started panicking.

Kobe is the only guy in the league that I can think of who consistently makes tough shots whenever and whereever. Spurs were down 20 in Game 2 and Pop called out the bench players in the 4th quarter. Tonight, Lakers were down 20 in the 4th, Phil knew he had a player who can overcome that 20 point lead.

I expect Kobe and Lamar Odom and Derek Fisher to come out firing in Game 4.

Thats the only name that concerns me there. Fisher is a spot up whiner at best and Odom is streaky as hell. I can live with Kobe getting his. He won't go off on Bowen for 100.

With Manu back in it, this thing is thoroughly winnable. Lakers do not scare me. Kobe can give you nightmares, sure, but so long as Manu is able to do his outside thang along with Tony, Bowen, Barry/Finley and etc., they have no answer for Tim. LA's front court is tall but soft as tissue paper.

And nice game last night Oberto!

1.

Spurs were in deep trouble after game 2. Down 0-2 with a heartbreaking loss and a blowout loss. On top of that, Spurs' players were tired and/or injured.

The game 3 was really positive. Aside the win, the team looks healthier and less tired. The fact that it wasn't an exhausting game and players didn't play too much are also quite huge.

However, Spurs have only made half of the recovery process and they had to win game 4 to erase their awful start of the series.

The Lakers have won 1 meaningful game on the Spurs' floor in the past 6 years (and that one took miracle of modern time-keeping).

That number will remain at 1 after Tuesday.
