Did anybody watch Craig Sager interviewing Lamar after the game in the locker room? He either snorted some coke or wanted to cry, I couldn't tell. He wouldn't stop moving, and he couldn't look at Craig or the camera straight.
What the hell was that?

He was probably embarrassed to talk about his performance.

He is scared of Spurs now

I also thought he was going to cry. Last year when they lost against the Suns he had the same expression. I guess he thought the Spurs were going to just roll over and die but who knows.

He was distracted by his anal sphincter oscillating wildly, caused by his deep-body horror of the Spurs' might.

He is disappointed.

He's in shock.

Time to go for the kill

Wasn't Odem right out of high school to the NBA? Wasn't he supposed to be a potential All-Star with all kinds of talent? Gee, what's Odem now cept some average schmuck.

He tried to pull a Manu by blaming the loss entirely on himself. I don't think he realizes that wins and losses don't rest on the shoulder's of the irrelevant.

Dom should be his new nickname, because that's what he is.

He is the same way after a Laker win, us Laker fans always think he's about to cry.

I told my wife the same thing when I was watching that, "Bet he's higher than a kite."

"I chose to experiment with marijuana," Odom said after stating he doesn't have a drug problem. "I'll be receiving counseling, that's not rehab...I failed. I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want to put anybody in this position again. I'm sorry, but I don't want everybody to feel sorry for me."

Odom looked kinda wierd there but frankly Craig S is really irritating me lately. He basically looks at the player from the losing team (who BTW probably dosen't want to be there) and says" You played like a piece of shit and just got your ass handed to you. How do you feel about that?" I'd like for some player to bitchslap him just once. I know it wont happen but would be fun to watch.

Weird because he looked comfortable when he made a cameo in Entourage

I doubt he was high because he's under close scutiny from the NBA. I believe he gets tested pretty regularly because of his past problems.

Has the nba ever busted a top player from a big market for use of illegal drugs?

First, he went to the U of Rhode Island. Second, he was picked to be a good basketball player, not to be an allstar. Third, he does have all kinds of talent. Fourth, he is far from being an "average shmuck". Rather, he is the starting SF and an integral piece of the soon to be world champions. Fifth, he is one of the most versatile and complete players in the league. He's long, plays defense, shoots a good %, rebounds and passes well. Do you even watch basketball outside of the occasional Spurs game?

Michael Ray Richardson.

And this thread's beyond ridiculous BTW. Yeah, inbetween the five minutes after the game ended and when Craig showed up for the postgame Lamar did a few lines and then a bong snap in a bathroom stall. Give me a fucking break.

the sad truth is, a ringless team like yours has no idea just how deep a champ can reach.

Ok. We'll see. Good job attacking the entirely unrelated team I root for because you didn't like what I had to say about Lamar Odom.

And luckily for me I am not a part of that ringless team, I am only a fan of theirs. In fact, I'm more just an NBA fan than anything else. (And you don't rule BTW)

LO has been like that his whole career in interviews. Fidgety, won't make eye contact, will start answering a question before the full question has been asked, moves from side to side.

Wasn't Shawn Kemp suspended for alcohol and cocaine abuse? Or as the NBA puts it "violating the league's substance abuse policy"? Or did he leave on his own.

I dont know if you guys have noticed, but Odom has the attention span of a two year old. His interviews always bothered me, but I soon realized thats just how he is. He never looks the person in the face. He answers questions as if 10 people asked that same question... looking around as if he lost something. The entire team played with caution last night... as if they were expecting the Spurs to choke again. Look for a more focused Laker squad Tuesday. PJ will show why hes the superior coach to Pop.

Sure... whatever you say.
