I blame this game on Ginobili. I blame it on him having to carry us for large stretches of the regular season and having nothing left for the playoffs (which is to say, I really blame it on the Spurs FO, for investing all their money in scrubs who don't play like Matt Bonner).

Does this mean we can expect him to show up in Game 6?

Manu has done so much for this franchise I can't really complain. Well, yes I can but I won't tonight. There's no point.

Seriously - I love Manu, probably my favorite player but he needs to pack his bags for the Olympics right now. He's just not in here. It's disappointing. I feel sorry for the dude.

Manu wasn't the reason the Spurs gave up 18+ second chance points in the first half.

Manu only shows up when Manu feels like it. So game 5 is too soon and so he will show up in Game 6 (at his house watching the Finals).

I'm sorry but I have to call Manu out even though he's my favorite player. For the most part he's really been killing the Spurs and doing a lot more bad then good lately. He's not even doing much out there.

THe Spurs lost this game as a team. Tony and Tim both came up short in that 4th quarter offensively, Brent even missed some big buckets. Manu did the right thing, he realized it wasn't his night, didn't force much, and let Brent, Tony, and Tim do the brunt of the scoring.

We lost this game on the boards folks, getting outscored by 18 points in ONE half due to lack of defensive rebounding is not going to get it done against a team like LA.

Manu laid it all out there Sunday and had nothing left for tonight. I'm sure he'll come back the next game. If he starts slow, might as well put him on the shelf.
