No offense but when your caught in the air and you hit the player with the ball its a foul! They call it for less then that but it was so obvious! I'm not going to play the ref card because we had so many foul shots but when the call is so freaking obvious you have to call it. I hope this is Crawford's last game with all that BS. We need to be very critic here.. the spurs lost ok as they couldnt get over the hump all night long. Lakers played an outstanding game but the last non-call was very obvious. Everybody is saying it was a foul.

Again you have to add this to the baggage and the joke this playoffs has been. No resting days in between, etc. The spurs have been fighting uphill against a lot of obstacles since the beginning. Some of them self inflicted though.

The lakers have the edge now and could close out at home in game 5. I'm almost certain at this point theres some rigging going on in the league - it has been a joke and it's disheartening for real basketball fans.

Spurs were in the penalty. But uh yeah, he was shooting the ball.

Uh, no he wasn't. He eluded Fisher with a sidestep, THEN shot the ball. No way is that a continuation and 3 shots.

Bottomline is that the Spurs were outplayed tonight and really had no business being in that game if not for Gasol and Kobe just doing their best to give the game away with choking and mental mistake (Kobe) in the last minute.

Plus SA got the bulk of the calls tonight throughout the game (massive FT disparity even though LA was clearly more energetic and active as indicated by the rebounding and loose ball edge being decidedly SA).

Why in the World did Popovich not sub out Duncan in the 4th? At least for a couple minutes? Duncan was on fumes. Parker and Manu seemed to be also. I understand the bench has been letting him down, but you have to give a couple of minutes rest. If he did that, Spurs win tonight IMO...

That was a foul. Contact was made. How can you argue that it wasn't when that is the definition of a foul? It makes me mad, because all game we got all these ticky tack fouls on the Lakers that I didn't even want (but gladly took :lol), and yet the one foul that was actually a legit foul wasn't called, and it cost us the game as far as we know. I don't want to lose like that.

It was 8-5 all game against the lakers. How many "touch" fouls did we get the entire game and had our whole team in foul trouble. It's too bad you couldn't pull it out. But if that call was made you would have been bailed out by the refs. I guess the spurs couldn't take advantage. Still only 3-1....

It is definitely a foul under normal circumstances. Non-shooting foul though because Barry was dribbling when Fisher came down on him. However, Kobe Bryant, who averages 10 FTs a game and is the 2007-2008 MVP, only has SIX free throw attempts in FOUR freaking games. SIX free throws in FOUR games. If the MVP can only get SIX free throw attemps in FOUR games, I don't see any reason the ref would give a BENCH player FTs in the last seconds of the game.

Wow Pop Said No Foul

yeah, and if he was an official, he wouldn't have called a foul either. the officials didn't, so up to everyone else to debate. Can't turn back the clock, it's over.

It's up to the officials to call the game. What's the point in even having them if the players have to overact for them to see it. Spurs deserved to lose, but not like that. Derek Fisher is the biggest piece of shit in the NBA.

Barry fucked up, as a spurs fan you should know you gotta sell a call. spurs were doing it all game. Barry should have never put the ball on the floor, it was a 2 shot foul, and Fisher's shot hit the rim. Lots of finger pointing to go around.

Sometimes Pop needs to shed the bullshit "no excuses" act and stand the fuck up for this team.

I thought it was rather obvious.

Kobe, or anyone is a Lakers jersey, gets that call.

OK you are down by four and Barry shoots 3 shots IF the refs make that call. You STILL lose by one... HELLO??

I could easily see the Refs missing that call...a grazed rim. Blatantly jumping on to a dude...that doesn't wash.

2 shot foul minimum.

Both of them saying it was a non-issue. Compare that to Phildo Jackson at the half.

Barry and Pop can lose like men. Phildo and Kobe can't even win like men.

First off, it shouldn't matter who the player is, a foul is a foul. Kobe didn't deserve the MVP, if you go by impact, it was Paul, by numbers, it was Lebron.
