All they need to do is take game 5 and bring the series home.

The Spurs can take the next 3.

It will be even sweeter to see Kobe cry on his homecourt.

Spurs are beat up, physically and mentally right now. Even Tim played bad in the 4th because he was clearly out of gas. Our 2nd best player is playing on one foot,

Man, I was watching highlights of the 1995 Rockets coming back from a 3-1 deficit vs Phoenix, and winning game 7 on the road.

However, Rockets were healthy.

Horry was a member of that 1995 team, I hope he'll use that experience to motivate the Spurs

If we can beat them in game 5, which I doubt (Kobe will go for 50) we can edge them in 7

The league will review the non-call and make the Lakers and Spurs replay the last 2 seconds of Game 4...Barry will hit the 3 and win the game. Spurs in 6. :lol

Also, Fisher's shot with a few seconds left did hit the rim, which means Spurs have to foul the Lakers instead of 2 seconds to shoot. Just sorry there are so many sour grapes now.

I honestly think this series will go 7. Whether or not we win game 7 I'm not sure, but I truly think we'll win 5 and 6.

If not for fatigue from the bruising Hornets series, we'd be up 3-1 or tied 2-2 right now. We haven't been massively outplayed - in fact, 2-2 would be a very fair reflection of the series.

Tonight EVERY bounce of the ball went their way, we got pounded on the boards in the first half, Manu was missing, and yet it was still a 2pt game!

Bring on game 5!

I BELIEVE

Well, let's see. How many does he have for the series? 6 I believe. Divide that by 4 and you get 1.5. Yup, he's sure been getting to the line this whole series. :rolleyes

Funny thing about '06, the Mavs were kicking the Spurs' asses the entire series and were actually miles ahead of San Antonio. With the exception of game 2, the Spurs have kept up with L.A. pretty well. L.A. tightened up their defense and now it's time for SA to do the same and buckle down on the road.

Note to Pop: Please play Tim Thomas and Brent more regardless of what other role players have to sit.

Also, I think Ginobli (hobbled and all) will still rebound from this game.

you might be right, i hate it when kobe always wanted to be the hero in the end of regulation, as you can see tonight he almost cost lakers the game by shooting unrealistic shots!

It's over...mainly because Finley, Horry, and Ginoboli are doing nothing but killing their team. Parker and Duncan are gassed from trying to even keep the Spurs competitive, it's pretty clear they dont have much left...

05-27-2008, 11:52 PM
First congrats Laker fans you outboarded and outhustled us and except for the last no-call of the game you beat us when the refs were favoring the Spurs on our home court.

To my fellow Spur fans--- The Spurs do not fear the Lakers. This series will end up being the definng moment for this squad. A team that has done so much to mark its place in history yet never received the respect due. The Spurs will grind out 5 and 6 and win going away in 7. When that is accomplished it won't matter who waits in the finals. Think Red Sox v. Yankees in 2004.

You're crazy. The Lakers are way better at every position except PF. I'm frankly shocked we were in it as long as we were. That is a testament to the heart and character of the Silver & Black.

But they're not winning Thursday. Kobe & co. will close it out.
