Ok, this is depressing and unpleasant. I would much rather talk about, or for that matter look at, boobs.

BUT

Kinda important to know about. Sorry for being a Debbie Downer.

Wow.

Remember, these are just the sites that are bad enough to get Federal attention/funding, and that we know about.

Note to self:

Don't drink well water in the Houston area.

A fiscal conservative in the Democratic Party! You're fighting an uphill battle, my friend. Not that my party has been much better these days.

But keep up the good work. And I'll drink bottled next time I'm near Houston.

Hey now, I've drank Houston water for years with no ill effects. This tail that I've grown has improved my balanced and made me a much stronger swimmer.

Municipal water supplies in the last 30 years or so are probably pretty safe.

BUT

I have a friend who is about 40 or so now, and grew up near Houston (aka refinery-ville) and he has epilepsy. Not remarkable in and of itself, but so did an alarming number of his high-school classmates.

Along with that are the unusually high number of people in his home town who have died, or are currently dying from, brain tumors.
