I told a guy I would format the disk.
use his recover disk
windows xp home
no programs
do windows updates
including service pack 2
I start on it at 8:00
and get it back to him SAME day by 5:00 pm
and that is to long :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes
and that is with a increase in population in yuma 120k during the winter
NAME ONE COMPUTER PLACE that would be faster then that :angel
sorry these old wintervistors can drive someone crazy
ps some computer places would be closed on saturday and then the old idiot would be without his computer all weekend

service pack 2 takes about an hour to 1 hour and half by itself
the compaq restore on my desktop coputers took 3 hours before windows update
he told me he had to take it somewhere where it could be done right away
I told him it might be ready by 1 or 2 but not before if everything went right

Does he want his PC back right away to surf the web?
The reason I ask is because when I work on PC's I lend out my gateway so folks can surf the net in case I take longer than a day to fix it.

I hope that jerk never goes to Comp USA . They take forever and when you call to check on it, they tell you they did not get the power cord when you brought it in. Amazing.

How about you setting the expectation prior to the deliver of services?
Its your fault.
Simple Simon.
the mofo drops the computer off and you say, I need it at least one day. Is that a problem? Then you call the fucker at 4 and say look beyitch, your shit is done, we close at 5, then the mofo is thinking that his shit was going to be ready tomorrow and then he is like damn, that mofo ducks busted ass on my shit and so I am going to be happy........
