According to CNN, Kobe is now admitting to having committed "adultery" witht the 19 year old woman he is accused of having raped. His defense will be that the sex was consensual.

Geraldo Rivera claims to have sources who have told him that the alleged victim had bloody fingernails and torn clothing.

Did Geraldo find them in Capones vault?

Geraldo was reporting live from inside the girls vagina.

If she had bloody fingernails then there would be evidence on Kobe' body. It would be easy to prove that part.

After Kobe and Vanessa's statements I kind of feel sorry for them. He was a total idiot but I don't believe he is a rapist.

But it isnt right.

When you agree to marry someone, stupid me for thinking that thats the only one you have sex with.

IMO thats a break of trust.

Flea, you feel sorry for an adulterer?

Pathetic.....

50% of marriages end in divorce.

In my opinion, marriage should be eliminated with respect to the law and government. It should only be recognized in religion and the church. But that's for another topic and discussion. :)

Flea
07-18-2003, 06:45 PM
Yes....I do.......if he is innocent of rape.

I think adultery is WRONG and I personally think Vanessa should kiss his A$$ but if it was consensual and he is facing jailtime for a stupid, stupid mistake then I feel sorry for him and his family.

Don't sweat it TPark, your right. The others either have no morals or no brains.

IcemanCometh

what about mormons, cause they can marry more than 1 person you know. or those muslims they get a harem. it it ok for them to have sex with more than 1 person, as long as its their wives?

what about the gays, technically they can't get married, except in hawaii. does that mean that anywhere but hawaii they can have sex with other people?

and what about people like susan sarandon and tim robbins. never got married but are technically common law marriage. can they screw around?

T Park Num 9
07-18-2003, 06:51 PM
eh

shackin up outside of marriage = piece of crap imo.

The muslims and mormons can do what they want, I just wont respect them.

Thats all. My opinion, dont like it?

Grow up and agree to disagree bozo.

THank u coon.

I don't think the mormons practice bigamy anymore.

TexasBlue13
07-18-2003, 07:08 PM
It's puligamy, and Mormons haven't practiced it since about the 1800's.

RAPE does not equal ADULTERY. Adultery is not near the evil that is a rape. Adultery is at least between consenting adults. Putting Slick Willy on the level of Kobe is not fair to the victims of rape.

i agree 100%

the only way im saying hes AS OF NOW, admitting adultry, that he is as bad as those people.

I would never belittle rape, rape is a serious and painfull and most terrible issue that is totally different.

Well...so much for all of those posters who jumped to his defense with the "its out of character" arguement.

Guy just admitted to screwing around on his wife. Quite a 180 from a few weeks ago.

While his admission isnt rape, keep in mind that she couldve been screwing around with him, then said its gone far enough, and if he kept going against her will, its rape. Happens all the time. He prob thought, "Hell Im Kobe F'ing Bryant, of course she wants to be with me."

Makes you appreciate our "good guy" "boring" team all the more

That would seem to be the scenario, goliath.

Kobe is a piece of sh!t as it is for the adultery. If it's found he raped that girl, they should chop off his balls.

Actually, I wouldn't be against the removing of tesitcular function for the adultery.

Kobe is in some deep, deep shit.

The DA has a victim to consider. A victim who can raise all types of holy hell is he is let off or let off easy.

his trial would also be in Colo not LA. A small town is going to have a much diff view on Kobe than a big, major-league team would. Jurors are going to view him in a much less favorable light.

bonesinaz

Just saw his press conference. This is what happens when people don't realize that their actions have consequences. Kobe wants to 'turn back the hands of time' now. He says he loves his wife and she means so much to him. His words seem hollow. His love for her didn't keep him from having sex with another woman (whether consenual or rape) outside of his marriage.

I hope that justice will be served in this case. I hope that if he is innocent he will be proven so and if guilty the same. It's too bad when we have to see NBA players grabbing headlines because of criminal behaviour or their sex life. I, for one am sick of it.

God bless DRob.

Cassius Clay
07-18-2003, 11:13 PM
Oh come on people.

It's just about sex, that's all.

It's between him and his wife.

How dare you butt into their personal life like that!!

shackin up outside of marriage aint it Guru?

As one who has been around the block, "shackin' up" is significantly different from a "roll in the hay". I don't associate "shackin' up" with adultery - unless of course her husband is out of town.:wink

Kobe Bryant Charged With Sexual Assault (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,92355,00.html)

Responding to news that he'll face a felony charge, NBA superstar Kobe Bryant tearfully denied sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman and pledged devotion to his wife.

I enjoyed watching Kobe cry when we sent his ass home this year. Now it's just pathetic.

shackin up outside of marriage = piece of crap imo.

Are you married Tpark?

What about those people that don't want to get married because they don't need a bit of paper to show that they are in love. Are they supposed to not enjoy what the opposite sex has to offer? Your statement is very broad, and seriously weird.

Cassius Clay
07-19-2003, 09:32 AM
Indeed Unc.D, now Kobe is pledging not to screw around on his wife. He's obvously taken the early playoff exit hard.
