Win or Lose tonight I am proud of the effort they are giving tonight. You can see it in their faces that they want it badly.

Manu's injury came at a really, really bad time.

They put a good fight vs. a great Lakers team, the best team money can buy, a team that even got free stars like Gasol for nothing.

I am a proud fan win or lose tonight.

Lets win at the last second and take the still beating hearts from their fucking body.

I'm proud of my Spurs win or lose. It's hard to win a series when the NBA wanted the Lakers to be in the finals the whole year. Oh well though there is always next year!

Proud of the Spurs.

Not proud of the way they played in the WCF. They freaking sucked and could not execute to save their lives.

Lakers wish they had fans like us.

love the spurs...good effort this season. we botched the regular season...and we went downhill after the phx series. going 7 agains NO didn't allow for rest and we couldn't hold a lead against the lakers except in game 3. as the laker and NOH series has shown us, good offense can trump a defensive oriented team with limited offensive capabilities.

Props to the Spurs.

they showed heart playing to the end of the line. Not giving up early.

Duncan is one of a kind. A true competitor. Be grateful you saw him play live like this. There will be very, very few like him(if any) in the future.

They will be back.

I am one happy Spur fan to have players like these.

:toast to the Spurs.

In the end old legs did them in. Next year we need 4-5 young, quick athletes to come in.

Even though it ended this way I'm proud as hell of them. They never gave up, despite what some of the fucktard fans here have said.

Spurs didn't give up, I'm proud of the Spurs but I'm still disappointed with how their playoff play went down...so many mistakes ...like it feels like they deserved better for their efforts, but we never had any luck fall our way..

Lakers were a better team :depressed :depressed :depressed

wow is that what sasha did?

OK GO CELTICS NOW.

Lakers just lost my respect

I'm on the Celtics bandwagon now...

This is the most depressing playoffs, kinda like 04', at Least I kinda liked the Mavs in '06 where I woudln't have cared if they killed the Heat..

Lakers are abhorrent.

It has been a great run by the big 4 plus a multitude of role players. With such tremendoes competition in the West from talented, younger teams, I'm not sure our boys can win another championship before they get over the hill. I will always cherish their 3 championships (I'm talking about Duncan, Ginobili, Bowen and Parker) and I am hopeful that the front office will be busy this off season getting younger players to try to make another run next season.

I am proud of them. They've given me so much joy as a fan. This sucks so bad right now. And I can't even begin to imagine how much harder it is for our guys out there. But I am proud of them. They have given me no reason to feel any shame of being a Spurs fan. Reason No. 1 why I'm proud of them is Mr. Duncan, and 1a is still Manu Ginobili.

Amen there brother! I love the Spurs regardless of their win-loss record. They are a classy bunch of guys and are good role model for many.
Unlike the Suns or the Mavs who are saddled with old, expensive has-beens, we can unbiasedly say that we will have another chance next year. :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag:

i felt that the spurs didn't get its usual cruise to the playoffs they often get in recent years. injuries amongst the bench players coming at the most inopportune time messed up their rhythm. and injuries to the big three, especially manu late in the RS really ruined it. long series against the hornets and the plane debacle and manu's lingering ankle sprain, as well as a young and athletic kobe-led lakers team, contributed heavily to the spurs' demise this season.

oh well, there's always next season.

When the season was beginning I never tought than the Spurs could even win in the first round in the playoffs. They killed and improved Phoenix and the faster and younger Hornets, they just lost with the best team.
Props to the Lakers.
They have a good balance between experience and youth.
And the Spurs havenīt.

Some players must be traded like Finley, Horry, Studamire, Bonner.
And some young players must be added to the team

The Spurs must keep
Parker
Duncan
Ginobili (if he can keep away from injuries, he must play less minutes in RS)
Bowen
Barry (is the new Steve Kerr)
Thomas

??
Oberto
if the Spurs find a younger, athletic, taller and better defender Oberto must be traded.

Udoka
Good player but isnīt taller enough to play D against bigger players

Add some young shooter, any backup to TD and a decent Center.

I don't think Udoka can become the next Bowen. I think Oberto has some value and if we keep Kurt Thomas(which we should) we could get something for Oberto.

Finley and Horry should retire.

I would keep Duncan, Parker, Manu, Bowen and Barry.

Everyone else should pack their bags.

I agree. The Spurs got beat by a better team, plain and simple yet you don't hear Pop or the guys whining and complaining. That's why I love Greg Popovich and that's why I'm a Spurs fan. They may go through a transition period but if they bring in the right players, they'll be back. :)
