:lol The sad part is this was probably a routine Kobe game. Which just goes to show you how good Bowen's defense has been.

Again... why do we give up offense with Bowen guarding Kobe if Kobe can score on him?

I mean, WTF?

I've been saying let Kobe have his points. But I guess Pop thought otherwise...

I was wondering what if we let Kobe drive in the lane and earn his points in the FT line and foul hard every time?

Well he's scored 40 or more points 90 times and 50 or more points 24 times so I'd say he has some experience in taking over :)

That was par for the course for Kobe. The guy is simply fucking amazing, you just can't argue it.

The shots he made, NO ONE could guard.

That simple.

Naw, not even close but he did do a hell of a job tonight. I still believe that the 2001 series was the greatest series I've ever seen Kobe play in. The series when Shaq said he was phenomenal. That was one of the greatest performances that I've ever seen.

Kobe has these alot, but I felt he forced too much today.

That's not even the best game he played against us. That would have to be game 4 of the 2004 WCSF, followed by game 1 of the 2001 WCF.

he did force shome shots he wanted this one BADDDDDD ...but the closing stretch was one of the best ever the shots over Tim & Bowen were sick game 1 this series and the 4th of tonight's game have to be top 5 because he did not have Shaq keeping Duncan or Robinson down low ...

Yup a great game, nicely balanced attack. Probably not the best game but the consistency he displayed in the 5 games in my opinion rank up there with the best, especially as the man on his team. Hopefully he can play well in the finals. It's going to really tough.

He toyed with Bowen, he can take over a game anytime he wants.....that was a smackdown ...plain and simple......Mr anti-freeze in his veins rules the day yet again....

U mean Jordan Farmar, the youth and future of the PG spot for the Lakes...he is going to be burying shots on you for many years to come.....

A lot of his shots were not all that spectacular.
Run straight at Bowen until he starts going backward, then stop, jump, shoot.

It's sad when I expect Kobe to do that late in the game.

I truly believe when Kobe retires he will be forever known as the best shooting guard and perimeter player the NBA has ever seen. Better than Jordan.

Put down the crack pipe dumbass.

I said a lot of his shots were not spectacular. Some were, but a lot of them weren't. Just as I said.

Bowen played him tight on the perimeter, but he played off of Kobe when he would drive so as not to get called for a foul. Then Kobe would just stop, jump, and shoot. Effective, but not spectacular.

If he wins the final comparisons to Jordon will be made.

Relax spurs fans, this was his best game in the playoff season this year. His highest FG% and I think highest score. BTW whoever said let Kobe have his points is crazy, you're asking for him to drop 50+ on you then. Bowen did an amazing job, I have to give him props.

I don't think so. And not necessarily because Kobe is not as talented, because I think he is. It's just that Jordan was a marketing phenomenon and carried the league on his back during the late 80's/early 90's. He was the most dominant player at the time when the league's popularity peaked. Regardless of who comes after Jordan, he will always be the Babe Ruth of the NBA.

Where you are a fucking moron happens, and happens, and...

Talk about having your head up someone's ass! Everyone has to believe - and explicitly state - that EVERY shot Kobe takes, or indeed has EVER taken is absolutely spectacular? Get fucking real.

Remove your tonsils from Kobe's cock long enough to actually watch a game and you will see that some of his shots are incredible, but many are simply pedestrian.

I mean, WTF?

Bowen is not effective against the Lakers. He can slow some guys down but not Kobe. Its better to have a higher scroing sf that will make Kobe work some on defense and to offset some of Kobe's points.

The Hornets were dumbasses for trading Kobe for that stiff Divac. I swear my fantasy league has better gms then some nba gms.
