Now before you start open fire on me, just think about it.
Parker has more weaknesses than his big strength covering it.
Weaknesses
Subpar defense
Overusing fancy passes
Crumbling at the first sign of tough adversity
Prone to turnovers
Prone to TURNOVERS
Strengths
Able to slither into the lane and make easy layups
Decent mid-range jumpshots
Speed
For some reason, I dont think Parker would be miserable in L.A. mainly because it would suit Eva and living in L.A. would make her happy and they would fit in nicely with the bright lights of Hollywood.
Trading him to the Lakers: BAD
for two reasons
1. It would make the Lakers near invincible.
2. Knowing it would be better to have a good draft pick than a miserable or disgruntled Laker, as far the draft goes, the best draft pick the Lakers have is probably #28 which is worse than Spurs' pick
Trading him to the Clippers: GOOD
for two obvious reasons
1. it wouldnt even make the clippers a contender
2. their pick is at around #10, which is a good bet they would rather have a formidable and experienced point guard like Parker than an untested prospect
Trading Parker to LAC for a 2008 1st-rounder and possibly a 2nd rounder in 09
looks good in which enables us to go after Russell Westbrook, a 6-3 point guard who is basically Leandro Barbosa with great lockdown defense.
