Dude is a beast on both sides of the game.

There's a Kobe Bryant interview conducted by Ron Artest on youtube. Watch it, you'll swear he's auditioning to join the Lakers. Just watch it.

So he's going to join the Lakers.

Why start a thread?

No way, Ron-Ron on the Lakers. Might as well hand them the title for the next five years.

I am down with getting Artest.

He's admitted he's a fan of only three players....Duncan, Bryant, and James.

He does it on both ends of the floor....and will not break the BANK.

A winning enviornment can change a lot in a person's attitude, and Pop could possibly contain him.

Plus, he can rebound and the dude will give it his 100%....he lays it on the floor and is willing to do whatever it takes for his teammates.

We could've had him in 2001 for scraps.

And he was available this year.

If you guys couldn't handle Rodman what makes you think you can handle Artest??

All things considered he was a decent enough citizen with the Kings this year. I don't think the chemistry issue would be a concern. He has respect for this organization. From a maturity standpoint he is just quite possibly ready.

Would he actually come here? I have no idea. But he's the type of bruiser the Spurs could use.

Rodman....please.

That was in a different era....

Sure Popovich was the coach, but even he was young.....

The Spurs system now is surronded by winners and professionals....Artest could come in here and learn....and possibly grow up.....

Plus, he was fairly quite in Sacramento this season.....

I know he wants to win, and he has the goods....a rare player who can do it on both ends and will lay it all out on the line.....

Would it work? Possibly.....
