... Spurs fans arguing who is better, Parker or Manu?
Set aside your man-love tendencies folks and cheer for the team.

I alternate between admiring one more than the other.
Pluses for Manu: just scored 48 pts, plays like a wildman, shooting well from outside, 2nd best perimeter defender on the team.
Pluses for Parker: younger so can still develop, top 3 fastest players in league, and is hitting at a high percentage.
They can both put up 20, but we don't really need them both to do so to win; if parker get 7 assists and over 12 pts, and manu and Duncan combine for over 40, we are fine.
Parker and Manu are the jabs and body blows to our KO with Duncan. Parker softens them up with drives inside early and often, Duncan pounds it inside all game, then Manu goes to the hole to get fouled near the end. Recipe for success.
Perfect. Manu and Parker are combining to function as Kobe was able to do with the Lakers; create offensive flexability and the ability to get to the line late in close games.
sweet.

yes
they're fighting together for the same.
Spurs is the most important .they must believe so and may not be very happy to hear the argument about the two of them.
GO SPURS GO!!
for me,that's enough.and for that, all the players of spurs will be glad. :spin

You're right. It's ridiculous to argue. Manu is better.

They are different, it is not unlike comparing apples to oranges, or if you will, Alfajores to Coissants..
They both bring some similar things to the table, but they are more different than alike.
We need both to be successful....

This thread will be long forgotten following the next Spurs loss.
It's the thought that counts though, GoN.

Let's make love and not war, except in Iraq and except when Argentina and Brazil face off in soccer, basketball or any other sport.
