My last prediction didn't go as planned, so here is another one:

Boston Celtics will beat the Los Angeles Lakers and win the Championship.

Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen are too much for them.

The Truth and KG will be a load to handle but Ray Allen has played poorly.

Rajon and Perk are poor road players and will get eaten alive by Fish and Pau.

Add to that it's 2-3-2 for the Finals, the Lakers have the advantage being the better road team and getting 3 at home in a row.

Lakers in 5.

Garnett's a bitch. Did you see the way he was passing up shots and missing FTs late again? Fucking LA in 6. :pctoss

Don't sweat it, this dude's a troll. He wants the Lakers to win, he's just trying to jinx the Celtics.

I can see the Lakers handling Celtics easily. Garnett's not clutch enough. Pierce might cancel out Kobe's offense but might not.
Phil has the edge over Doc, but Doc might have a tougher bench?
I don't know, Lakers should win because they have Kobe >>> Lebron this season.

He really is. This series right here is his whole career, he must play great, even if they lose he has to step up and play at a huge level. IF their big 3 can play well together combined with their D they can win but it is a big If. Lakers will not have an easy time with them though, they are healthier then we were.

This may the only shot that Pierce and KG have at a ring. This series will likely be one of those career defining series, it is do or die for those guys.

Actually, a lot of us did. I can't stand the type of ball the Eastern Conference plays. Boring games that end up 70-60 - WTF is that? Western conference still plays a better brand of basketball in my opinion. So, yes, I did root for the Spurs to take down those boring beotches from the East.

Maybe because all the cocky trashtalk coming from you guys the last two weeks turned a lot of people against LA.

If only both teams could lose. That would be ideal.

Pretty much. I have great respect for the Lakers and while i don't think much of Kobe as a person he is a legendary player. However too many Laker fans are just arrogant jerks about their team when it comes to trash talk. They act like they no respect for the Spurs run of 4 titles in 9 year because they didn't repeat, they are just annoying some of them.

I will root for the celtics but don't know if they will pull it off. Its 50-50 on who will win this series. They are x-factors on both teams. Radmonovich,Odom,Gasol they are all soft players in my mind who have a history of not playing well under extreme pressure. We are going to find out if those guy have overcome their confidence issues or that they are just frauds who have just been lucky so far.

Perkins,Rondo,Posey, KG,Allen or all x-factors in my mind. If that group of 5 plays well the celtics will prevail. It will be too much for the Lakers to contend with. As much as everybody hypes Phill I don't he is a great mastermind. When he has weapons he can be tough to deal with but he can still look rather ordinary when dealing with a team of equal talent. This is the same guy who got bitchslapped by Mike D'Antoni 2 years in a row.

I live in LA, and I had enough shit talking of the spurs... not just this year, but throughout the past years as well. Lakers are a bunch of bandwagon idiots and I don't think that a rapist/ballhog/whiny f*g deserves another ring. If anything, KG should get a ring. You guys are also forgetting the fact that offense wins games, but defense wins championships. This season Boston has been the best defensive team in the league by far. I am positive they can hold Lakers (the best offensive team) in its place.

Ideally: Celtics in 4
Realistically: Celtics in 5 or 6

2005: Spurs beat Pistons

2008: Celtics beat Lakers
2009: Spurs beat Celtics

Sounds good to me.
