Just cam home. Me and my brother caught 1 buffalo, 3 drum (the biggest one I've ever seen), 5 small cat, and one really nice one. He caught that.

I'm in the bays around Rockport, Lamar, Aransas Pass quite often. Only fish in saltwater for reds (trout when I have to) w/ artificial lures. Recently got into kayak fishing in hopes of getting way back in the shallow marshes/lakes to try and find the BIG reds. I love it a lot more than fishing in a boat. Everyone should try it. It's cheap (no gas), you get to get a lot closer to the fish without having to wade, you get to know the area a lot better, it's comfortable (compared to standing in a boat for 6 hours), etc!

My grandparents have a tank stocked full of channel catfish.

Fried catfish is the best kind of fish.

Next would be smoked salmon. TlongII would know about that.

I like catfishing with trot lines. That is some fun shit untill you get a damn snake on a line. Mudcats are the worst, blue cats and channel cats are good eating, especially the small ones. I like catching pumpkinseeds and frying the hell out of them

Just got back from fishing Little Lava Lake here in central Oregon. It is fucking cold fishing these high mountain lakes! It even snowed part of the time. We fished for Brook Trout and Rainbows. I caught a 15" rainbow and that was it. I will post a pic when I figure out how to transfer it from my phone.

I used to fly fish A LOT, but for some reason I barely do anymore. However, I am going to the Wind River Range in a couple of weeks to fish my face off for a few days. Should make up for lost time.

Heading out to Port A tomorrow. Fishing in a tournament on Saturday but I'll probably only fish Rockport on Saturday. I prefer Baffin and the landcut.

I like fishing at the coast for trout/reds. I wade fish almost exclusively. Use a boat when we are hunting big trout in Baffin and the Laguna, and I have two kayaks for chasing reds in the skinny water. Fishing a 40 boat tournament next weekend (14th)...we fished it last year and kicked ass...I won big trout with a 28.5"/6# trout...heavy stringer for that tourney was best 5 fish and could be 3 trout/ 2 reds...We only caught one red, but still won heavy stringer because of the hog trout we weighed in. I will try to take pics this trip...
