Many of us know that strange guy who posts here as PakiDan. Well it seems he's hit a rough patch:

In that same thread Spurschick came up with a great idea, so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon. After talking to her I've decided to change my signature to show my support for PakiDan and hoping that some of the positive energy from that can be of help.

You don't need to save it. Just right click on the picture and use the selection "copy image location". Then you paste that into the signature section and use the [img.] tags. You paste the address in between those tags and wahla, instant paki love.

OK I see what the problem with angel, Slo and desflood is. You're using the signature picture settings. Don't bother with that just put the picture's URL between the tags in the signature editor window.

Thanks for asking! I've been to the heart failure clinic twice since last posting. Good news - I'm not retaining water, my heart is beating well, and I am responding well to the meds. It's up to me to stick to a proper diet and take my meds, but so far so good... I know all of your prayers and well wishes have been a significant help. Please don't stop, I'm far from being even close to out of the woods... I'll keep you updated, and yes, I am Mexican. :)

Yes - <1600 mg sodium per day and low fat diet. I never realized how much I loved salt until I couldn't have it anymore...

There is no more fluid around my lungs, I'm responding really well to the medication, my weight is stable and I have flat veins and no swelling. I'm scheduled for my next echo-cardio gram in September. If that shows function above 40% they will take me off the transplant list!! Thank you guys so much for your support!!! Just got back from seeing my nurse (Who I think I am in love with) and everything checks out great. I will be getting a new echocardiogram next month. That will be the tell all. She also informed me she submitted me for approval for stem cell research. I'm psyched about that.
