Any Ninja Gaiden fans going to pick up this game this week? I played the Ninja Gaiden for the PS3 and it was a pretty fun game. Im a fan and I think im going to pick this one up. I also want to rent the Lego Indiana Jones. The Lego games are funny and easy games to help pass time.

I'm ready. Just beat GTA IV, so this is comiing out at the right time. I lived and breathed Ninja Gaiden for regular x-box. This one looks to be pretty similar.

I never really got many chances to play the new Ninja Gaidens. But I LOVED the ones on the NES. Well, the first two anyways. The third one was kinda dumb. But the first one simply kicked ass, and was hard as shit.

Yeah man, I loved NG on the NES, it was really difficult, but I almost beat it. I can't wait for tomm to pick up this new one.

lol i played it so much that i have almost the whole game memorized. the other day, i downloaded it on a friends wii and beat it. its still hard, but i remember all the tricks, like how to beat bosses in 1 strike using the spin-slash tech.

JAQUIO!

One of the hardest stages in video game history was Stage 6-2. That blue looking temple with the pitfalls and stupid fucking ninja fags with jetpacks. A real nightmare for many young videogamers.

Nostalgia bombs away. I'm not buying, on the gounds that I'm cheap, but this is going to be a rent and re-rent for sure.

what does the online feature have to offer? is it just scoreboards again?

i played the originial on xbox and it was crazy. easily one of the hardest games on "normal" i've ever played. it's also a blast to play.

i ended up using the wooden stick through the game. at the midpoint i found a cheat in the sewers where you can go back and forth between doors/chambers and the enemies would re-populate ala old NES/SNES style.

i went back and forth for about 3 hours (i was sick and in college) just killing guys to upgrade the wooden stick into the HUGE massive paddle that did serious damage.

i can't imagine the game if i didn't have that weapon...

There were a lot of places you could do that (respawn enemies). I did it too to get the wooden sword, but I never used it much, or anything else besides the dragon sword for that matter. Sometimes I'd use the flail, but I liked the sword and that's probably what I'll stick with once I get this new one.

Its pretty damn badass. Im almost to the end of the game and its freakin hard. Some of the new weapons are the shit, like the Wolverine claws. Hard ass boss battles.

Only thing I can criticize is the camera angle gets funky at times.

Beat it last night, pain in the ass last level, be well equiped.

Overall I thought it was a great game, really fast and slick looking. The finishing moves are sick, and its a hard game to get through. Game has some cheap bosses, and a small amount of camera issues, but it is worth it to pick up if you like fast, violent play.
