6 games: .591, 2HR, 7RBI, 2SB.
WOW, 21 years old.
I know Hamilton is an MVP candidate in the AL. But Jay Bruce is the reason the Reds were willing to trade him.
Bruce, Cueto, Volquez, Votto, and Bailey. What a young core to build around.

Brandon Phillips is only 26.

Brandon Phillips is only 27, and if they can harness his talents, Edwin Encarnación is only 25.

Yeah, you can add Dunn and Phillips to that core.
I'm about ready to call Edwin a bust. He can get hot, but his defense is terrible and he's just not a good baseball player.

About Edwins D. He can make the very hard diving plays, but the easy ones he makes an adventure out of.

Makes you wonder what the hell Dusty Baker was thinking to start the first month and a half with Corey freaking Patterson instead of him.

Unfortunately for the Reds, that's only about the 432nd most confusing decision made by Baker over the years...

I'm so glad the Orioles didn't pursue him and went with Trem's instead.

He makes some mistakes here and there, but tough to complain about Trembley's overall philosophy and attitude with regards to the team. At this time, he's the perfect manager for this squad.

Watch the Reds/Padres 18 inning game and just count the fucking mistakes. Dusty Baker is a terrible manager, and it sucks that the Reds hired him. They hired him knowing that he loves veteran players, but the system is STOCKED with great young talent. I miss Jerry Narron (just a little).
