So hes not coming to the league next season?

Whoever drafts him must have some sort of deal with him to buy him out.

that's a totally wrong information.
he's under contract with Milano, but has a NBA escape clause.

his skill set is simply great. Tony Kukoc with more athleticism. has also great leadership abilities.
could be a nice fit with the Knicks and D'Antonis new style, considering also all the relations of D'Antoni to Milano and Gallinari.
shouldn't drop more than #10. if the Nets pass on him, they are just blind or clueless or both.

Gallinari has got a NBA escape clause and he can use this when he wants. Forget Bargnani and company.

He could play in many position. He has got a fantastic basketball's QI and, very important for his age, danilo has a great leadership abilities. He is an excellent worker and has got a fantastic work's ethic (i don't think if is the correct translation of etica del lavoro) and he love the "working group" . Not a good elevation

I've seen him a couple of times and he didn't particulary impress me. Maybe i just caught him in bad games or he's improved a lot lately, but i think he's overhyped. I think maybe lower in the draft he would be worth a risk.

Played for a mediocre team.
No experience in Euroleague.
Most likely will end up in another mediocre team, NYK.

just carried this in fact very mediocre team to the semifinals of the Italian league. without much help from any other player of this team.
played this season in the Eurolegue and was by far the best player under 20 this year.
played a much better season in Europe than for example Bargnani did 2006.

He has no experience in the top 16 Euroleague.
He is a prospect, but needs to improve his leaping, defensive speed against fast guards, long range shooting.
He might be playing on a bad team, some 15-20' by the end of the season.
He wouldn't play much on the Spurs squad.

He is going to be drafted by NY through the italian connection there. The Knicks are so bad that he wouldn't be any worse.

i guess noone expects a 19 years old player to save a franchise in his first year.
if he plays just 20 minutes, so be it.
btw. are there other teams playing the top 16 than the regular season? he played great against some of the best teams in Europe. (especially against the runner up champion Maccabi). why not give him credit for his in fact outstanding performance.
and he would play for this Spurs squad. few players in this world would be able to learn the Spurs system as fast as he could.

-Danilo Gallinari was in Los Angeles this past weekend, working out for the LA Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies for solo one on zero workouts. Teams we talked to indicate they believe Gallinari will pull out of the draft if he does not receive a promise in the top 10 by the early-entry withdrawal deadline (5 PM EST Monday).

Gallinari will stay in the draft. Good news for ripple effects.
