After eight years of exile in Far South Oklahoma the company is moving us back to Austin. So after 6,000 posts without a chance to ever get to a GTG, I'm looking forward to hopping in the car (even at $5/gallon) and being able to meet all of y'all. OK, most of y'all. :lol
You may now insert your "WGAF," "who cares", and "who are you" responses. :toast I'm just ecstatic to finally leave MegaChurchSUVLand behind and get back to 90 minutes from the rest of our family. Hopefully the house will sell before next season gets underway!

Oklahoma?
I got back a while back now from Washington D.C. and thats every bit as horrid as it gets. I will miss the transportation there I used to get around as now I'm out in the boondocks going to town every once in a while wasting $4 a gallon gas.
What company moved you around?

"Far South Oklahoma" is what we call the exurbs north of Dallas since we see so many OU decals and OK license plates. We actually live in McKinney, 30 miles south of the border, 30 miles north of Dallas, and light-years culturally from Austin.
HP is giving us a decent relo because the CIO thinks that all the little people need to work in common locations and they put together move packages to make it happen. Ironically, everyone else in the company is decentralizing, but if this gets us back to where we want to be, I'm all for it. :toast
