Its trade idea plus we get a possible lottery pick next year if the Bucks fail again which seems possible!

That makes sense. Just want to be sure whether we're talking about someone's random idea or a rumor (that may have about the same amount of credibility).

Usually, fans of a team have a major problem with OVER-valuing their own players.

Spurs fans seem to have issues with doing the opposite.

I am absolutely speechless.......... you sure you don't want to throw in a few more picks as well?

Redd is way better... he can give you 25 a night and is one of the elite shooters in the league.

Pass. Ginobli is considerably better than Redd, not to mention that Udoka and Oberto are valuable to the team.

Manu is a good player, but you can't compare him to number 1 options that see double teams all the time.

Michael: 22-4-3 2.51 TO
Manu: 19-4-4 2.70 TO

Way to show support to the guy that has bascially bought us a couple of titles. This is so far out there from what the FO would really do...Redd is a nice shooter..thats about it..granted he is a very elite player, but the Spurs are not going to pay this guy $16, $17, & $18 million over the next 3 years & sell Manu out in the process...I'm sure Gino has always wanted to play for the Bucks. Threads like this need to be locked IMO.

Enough with trying to trade Manu already.

He is still one of the three clutchest players in the game, and next year Pop will find a way to rest him for the playoffs.

Redd spends far too much of each night hanging out beyond the 3 point line to be doubled all the time.

Spurs need an athletic swingman and you guys want a spot up shooting Michael Redd!???!

Redd also averages 7 more minutes per game.

Manu doesn't see double teams?

Redd is supposed to be a "sharpshooter"...he shot 36% from downtown, while Manu shot 40% from three.

I'd take a healthy Ginobili over a straight up trade for Redd. I'm by no means a manu homer, but let's be real here.

Redd is actually pretty damn good at getting to the basket for someone with his limited athletic abilities. He has nice footwork and can draw a ton of fouls. He's a superstar-caliber offensive talent who would be marketed as such if he didn't play in bumfuck Wisconsin.

But he's also one of the biggest ballhogs in the NBA and (this is the bigger issue) just plain doesn't play defense. Not that he's physically capable of playing much defense, but he doesn't care enough to even put in that minimal effort. Spurs fans tend to overrate Ginobili's defensive abilities, but he's still above-average; all of the Spurs starters are at least average defenders. Redd would present a huge gaping hole in that lineup.

Just stop already.

Unless you are offering Kobe or Lebron, you don't trade Ginobili. Do you all realize he is a friggin bargain ?
Tony is younger but I'd move him before I ever even consider Ginobili.

I don't want Manu to wear any other jersey but that of the San Antonio Spurs, even if it might hurt the team down the road. He's that important to this franchise, fan base and city. No way.

Yeah let's trade Manu because he got worn out and battled injuries on and off during a postseason and sucked at times. It's not like he was having a career year before that or anything.
