So why all the crap about that? We station troops all around the world in friendly countries...

We have had troops in Korea as a deterrent to North Korea since 1950...and will in the future...it's a clear signal to neighbors that if you fuck with this country you are fucking with the US...

Is creating a US friendly democracy right smack dab in the middle of the middle east really a bad thing? Looking back in 20 years, historians may very well salute GW for having the balls to make this happen...and it WILL happen.

Yeah, I know it's been expensive. I know that it could have been handled better...when we went in, I was one of those saying..."yeah, but how the fuck are we gonna get OUT?"...

STILL

We went in and the next President is gonna have to deal with it. Cutting and running like we did in South Vietnam is NOT gonna work. We would be sending a clear signal to Iran (remember, they still remember the Persian Empire) that we have lost our will to fight and Iran will be the next one invading Kuwait.

The US military has metastasized into 700+ foreign installaitions. Why?

Where are the threats?

What are the advantages to the USA of 700+ military installations?

Fascist Corporate America has tandemed with DoD to suck 100s of $Bs of tax dollars out of citizens' pockets every year. Ike was amazingly prescient (or perhaps he just knew then what was already going on over at DoD) in the late 1950s when he, a career military man, saw the MIC exploding and dominating, out of control, untouchable, unchallegeable.

"Is creating a democracy right smack dab in the middle of the middle east really a bad thing?"

Holt Fucking Shit :lol :lol Let me know when you find one (other than Israel). Iraq certainly ain't a democracy now.

dubya's Iraqi puppet govt is signing over total control of Iraq to USA. Iraq is not a democracy, is not a sovereign country. It's just another US imperialistic military outpost.

"There he goes again."

If Boutons shows any opposition to the right-wing dumb fucks here, any dissent to the dubya gang, Boutons is a terrorist, anti-American, needs to move out of the country. Love or leave it, confounding "it" with the Repugs and the right-wing.

Newsflash: the Repugs aren't USA.

You fuckers are as easy to bitch slap as you are simplistic.

Bring me some real meat to slap around, not this unworthy diaphanous trash.
