once again, I say the healthier team will win.

I am not & will not be watching their game live, only the replays...or check the scoreboard

As a Spurs fan, I find it amazing that both teams have scored 20+ points in all 3 qtrs. Spurs are lucky to break 20 in 1 of 3 qtrs! :lol

I just hope it's ended as soon as possible . Celtics in 4 , please.

That way it won't be stretched out to the max. I'm so sick of the coverage/saturation. Especially on the net.

Fuck, I can't decide which team I want to lose more. This is like the 06 Finals all over again.

LA has all the assholes. Garnett's been a little bitch in his career, but has been a basically honorable person. Phil Jackson and Kobe are raging egotists with little class or respect for the game. Hope they go down.

Game 1 worked out pretty perfectly. Lakers lose. Paul Pierce the hero. KG and Ray Allen choking down the stretch.

Couldn't have drawn it up any better.

Great game. Naturally, I want the Celtics, and was screaming my lungs empty telling KG to post up and take Big Bird to school. Such an aggravating player to watch when he settle for jumpers.

Even though I watched the game, I can't remember who was mainly guarding Pierce. Was it the vaunted "Machine?"

Pierce going off shows the Lakers did nothing special in containing Manu. Even Ray Allen seemed like a superstar compared to the series Manu had.

:lol

I felt most Spurs fans were on the Wade bandwagon that year at least. It's not like he wasn't fun to watch, especially how much he pissed off Mav fan for getting to the charity stripe.

Radmanovic was utilized on D against Pierce, and KG even :lol
I think Phil's jig is up. His piece have been masked by the WC matchups. They really lucked out against the depleted Spurs.

Lakers will continue to have trouble against the bigger guards and longer Celtics in the middle.
Deron Williams was an example of that.

FTC > FTL?

Yes, sad to say.

Although there will probably be a lot of back and forth. I enjoyed watching KG and Gasol try to out-choke each other in the 4th quarter.

HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!! WHERE IS "I'M SO HOOD"? You've got to figure since he is such a Celtics fan, if he's going to show up, now would be the time. (Louis?)

I don't see how there's even a question of who you root for? Jackson and Kobe patting themselves on the back or a good player (and somewhat humble) KG and Doc winning? Can't see one legitimate reason for going for the fakers. Gay Allen is not really that significant, so let KG and Doc get a ring while Kobe and Phil fail again.

lakers could have won this game

2 of the big three choke sam cassel taking bad shots and lakers still lose and look young

Still here - just no reason to dog on you guys anymore. Would have been nice to take you out though. Good win for us tonight - hope we don't get screwed.

Don't worry -- if it's a naturally long series you'll get screwed at some point. If you threaten a short series something will happen to make it a longer series.

Clear favorite my ass. About the only people I could cheer Shaq ahead of are Cuban, Malone, and maybe bin Laden, though it's a pretty close call on all but Malone.

Dude, I forgot all about Doc Rivers.

He's not a bad guy, and I don't mind him at all. So I guess that helps soften the bitter taste of the Celtics winning it. KG got kinda annoying after Minnesota made him crazy, but it also has to do with the media.

I'm proud of the home team tonight, but they need to put the dagger into the Lakers by sending the series to LA up 2-0.
