The Basketball Gods have spoken. They do not approve of bullshit collusion trades where an elite international player is traded for the worst #1 pick in NBA history. This was never more evident than tonight, and it will continue to be evident as this series goes on.

I wish I could be in the house when the Celtics win the championship, and just get a taste of Kobe's tears. As the saying goes, Laker Fans, Karma is a bitch.

Trust me, I know a thing or two about karma. I'm a Patriots fan.

Celtics in 6.

I was trying to find a clip of that scene to post. Cartman was hilarious.

I never laughed harder at anything than the climax of "Scott Tenorman Must Die," when Cartman went all psycho.

Well ... except for one other thing ... when Beavis & Butthead were watching videos, and the video had this guy running in slow motion, and he was totally engulfed in flames. Beavis was transfixed by the fire, started saying "öooooo" and zoning out. Butthead was like, "this sucks ... uhhhm, Beavis?" And Beavis was in another world with the flames. My friend and I laughed so hard we almost passed out.

It's not like you can give away games in the finals, but the home team winning game 1 seals the deal?

:lmao

I suspect some of you are nouveau basketball fan types.

PJ-coached teams lost game 1 of the finals in '91, '98, '01 and '04. PJ-coached teams have won championships 75% of the time after losing game 1.

Is this relevent? Maybe peripherally. Point is, there's lots of basketball to be played and many adjustments to be made. Celtics did what they were supposed to do. If the Lakers can steal one on Sunday before heading back home for 3 games, I really like their chances. Hell, if they're down 0-2 going home I'll still feel good.

I'm not too worried about tonight's loss, I'm not even feeling down about it to be honest. At no point did I feel like LAL was being outclassed, if anything they dug their own grave tonight with the myriad of missed free throws and open shots. Kobe shooting abysmally again is not a good sign, but I've yet to see him put up two straight bad games in the playoffs.

If we lose Game 2 in convincing fashion I worry, if we win or lose a close one I won't sweat it.

The Lakers aren't good enough to win all three home games in the Finals. If they lose Game 2 it's over in 5 or 6.

DazedAndConfused
06-06-2008, 02:43 AM
The Lakers probably need to win Game 2 to give them a strong chance of winning the series, but I won't count them out if they don't. The Lakers are undefeated at home.

I expect a Crawford/Bavetta/Salvatore led crew for all games in the Staples Center. I expect some Wade treatment coming for Kobe very soon here.

I don't want KG to win a title before Dirk, cause he is not even close to player that Dirk is, but bullshit trades that ruin the league should stop once and for all.

I doubt that the Celtics got the Lakers best shot last night, but I have to agree that the Celtics have a very good chance to win this series. Lakers in 6 was my pick, but Gasol was an invisible vagina last night. They can't beat Boston without him being the #2 guy he's been since the trade.

TRIVIA TIME!

Which NBA player made the following statements?

"When I asked if I could cum in her face, she said no"

"That's my thing, not always, I mean, so I stopped"

"I said um, give me a blow job, um, and then....kiss it.....she gave me a blow job."

"Whatever I need to do without making this thing become public, I will do man. I don't care what it is man, I will do it"

"I asked if I could cum in her face and she was like no um, I thought she was cool, you know, I stopped. I stopped pumping..."

"I'm nervous right now my hands are shaking"

"She wasn't that attractive"

"I jerked off when she left"

"I should have done what Shaq does. Shaq gives them money or buys them cars, he has already spent one million dollars"

"She didn't bleed, did she?"
