Still wondering what the point of a Wii is. How is that better than using an actual hoola hoop?

Get your wife jewelry. You can see women shake their asses anywhere you want these days, but a BJ still means something.

Every time I open this thread to read a new response I just gravitate towards the play button on the video. I've probably watched it 10 times... it's intoxicating.

I have not yet decided whether or not I want to get Wii Fit. It looks stupid, but so did Wii Sports and that's probably the game I play the most.

No, it's not stupid. It measures your core balance and gives you exercises designed to improve that. It weighs you & password protects that, does your BMI. Then you tell it how much you want to lose and over how long and it gives you a personal trainer. Then when you do the exercises there are certain zones you have to stay in which keep you balanced and doing the exercises correctly. There are points attached to all of the yoga, strength training, etc. depending on how well you perform the exercises. With the points, you can unlock fit games to play.
I am hopelessly addicted to the soccer one. Kids kick soccer balls and you have to try and hit them with your head but you also get soccer cleats thrown at you and you have to dodge those.

You don't do the hula hoop?
The Wii fails.

I've only had the thing a few days. My husband is going out of town on a golf trip tomorrow so I'll probably try the hula hoop tonight as a going away gift:toast.

Unfortunately no, I've only played it a couple times though. It's different than playing guitar. Using a hoola-hoop takes a lot less time than learning to play an actual guitar.
