This kid would be a solid pickup early in the second round if the Spurs end up trading out of the #26 pick. He's essentially a Dequan Cook clone, with the ability to score in bunches and a picture-perfect jumpshot.

Green, who averaged 11.5 points per game last season, is one of three Tar Heels who declared for the NBA Draft and did not yet sign with an agent.

Green and teammate Wayne Ellington worked out with the San Antonio Spurs today and were en route back to Chapel Hill — with a connecting flight in Dallas.

"I'm going to try and call Coach Williams in Dallas and see what feedback he has," Green said.

Green, Ellington and point guard Ty Lawson all played at the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp and each has maintained they would remain in the draft if they felt they would be selected in the first round.

Ellington could turn out to be a nice scorer to bring off the bench and I could see Green being a great glue-guy that can spread the floor. Both could be quality second round pick-ups, or camp invites if they stay in the draft.

Never heard of him, but a 6'4 guard is intriguing.

Is he the elusive combo guard? Or an undersized shooting guard?

He's the purest shooter in this entire draft. He's got picture-perfect form on his jumpshot, with good elevation. And he's not just a standstill shooter...he can put the ball on the floor and hit the mid-range shot or go to the rim.

At this point though, he's pretty much only effective on offense. He has the athleticism to be a decent defender, but he hasn't commmited himself to it as of yet. That, and as you can see...he's undersized for the SG position.

Still, if the Spurs are looking for someone who can score, they could do alot worse than this kid.
