Oh God, please don't say its from San Antonio.

Yeah, I read the same thing. Don't remember where. I doubt it, though, because he's participating in workouts. But I like him at #57, regardless.

Eastern Euro/White Big Man? Check
Already playing in a pro league? Check
Let's draft him so that he will never come play for us...

I've heard some good things about him but the huge red flag is that, AFAIK, he has never played competitive basketball in his life. He spend his last couple of year in the worst team of a crappy league.
If you add that his age could be fake, he is a huge huge gamble.
You're all overreacting to the Splitter situation. And we're talking about #57.

I agree.
But still the thought of the Spurs giving him a first round promise gives me chills.
Bruno wasn't suggesting that the Spurs gave him the promise, just that someone may have.

There is no way the Spurs gave this guy a promise. Rest easy.

Wasn't this guy the center on that Georgian National Team where Sanikidze was averaging like 30 a game? If the star of that NT can't make the NBA, I'd hold off on drafting the team's role playing center.
