Yeah, but he should and most likely will shoot for Top Dollar elsewhere. Can't say I fault him.

What kind of fool would trade in an extra $30-$40 million for a chance to win a silly gold ring?

Everyone wants to win. But everyone wants to get paid to win. I'd love to see Jamison in a Spurs uniform...but we can't afford him. :(

Probably a pipe dream, but a very pleasant one.

Jamison would solve alot of our problems..I hope the Spurs at least get a chance to talk with him & offer a full MLE contract...we all know its a long shot, but that guy has already had a max contract, so he's not looking for his "big" payday...

A "genius" GM could pull it off.

A "genius" GM could pull it off.Presti could trade his trade exception for Jamison ...... oh wait he traded in that trade exception for three genius first round draft picks.

A genius GM would sign and trade his team's second best player to create a trade exception with which he could pick up multiple low 1st round picks to use someday to perhaps replace his second best player. Or perhaps wait and rely on the cap room created to lure big name free agents to Oklahoma City.

We could play small ball up the ass with him. Mofo averages double digit rebounds.

Ah, Okie City. If you squint, it looks just like San Antonio de Bexar. It even has a Riverwalk!!!!11 Presti will prove his genius once and for all.

People already complain about Finely's D. Jamison isn't much better.

He's a way better rebounder and scorer though, so I guess thats a plus.

How about we sign the guy the Wiz want for the MLE, and trade whoever that is + Bonner + Oberto for Jamison at $12mil/yr?

:lmao

NOT

I'm not deep into the situation, but from sens point of view it's as possible as me winning the power ball or whatever you have there in the States

The only way it happens is if he decides he wants title shots over money, ala Karl Malone to the Lakers in 2004... Then he chooses between SA, LA, DET, BOS (maybe NOH, CLE). The best fit would be SA - LA has Gasol, Odom, Bynum as bigs. DET has Maxiell/Johnson, McDyess, Sheed. BOS has Garnett, Perkins, Powe/Davis (and a Garnett & Jamison combo wouldn't work on court - it would be too perimeter oriented). NOH already has West - who's Jamison reincarnated. CLE would fit, but does he really want to join a team that is so weak in other spots. In SA, he'd fit nicely beside Duncan, and would pretty much waltz into the #2 bigman spot...

So, in about 2016 then?

Not exactly getting youger if we get him... he would be a perfect fit... only if we could sign him for a two year contract and wouldn't use up all our resources to get...although if we got him he would cover a lot of what we need...

So this All-Star, MVP candidate power forward, who continues to improve his game is going to sign a contract for below half his actual value - no, catch that,
wouldn't use up all our resources
well below half his actual value, with San Antonio, on the wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am plan to boot, so he can get his gaudy trinket.

I like the way you think.
