How easily the media is duped. Or werre they?

SUPPOSEDLY, Kobe "changed his ways", started trusting his teammates and grew up this season. That, according to the media, was why he was awarded the MVP even though he didn't have as good of a season as in prior years.

But he's still the exact same guy. He still goes into full "Kobe" mode in the fourth quarter. He still throws his arms and pouts when he feels his teammates make mistakes.

He still the exact same guy. He just has better teammates thanks to Memphis.

MVP?

Did the media really believe all the garbage they were spewing, or was it just to get more hits on their websites via Laker fans?

I'm not surprised.

The MVP curse has been going on since 2004.

Completely disagree. Nash is about the best teammate anyone could ask for.

Whats amazing to me is how he tries to keep his teammates posetive even when he knows they're going to lose.

Dirk's MVP didn't bother me as much as Kobe's. They have some of the same weaknesses.

It's not what I meant.

I'm just saying that MVPs haven't won championships since 2004 (included)

At least this MVP actually made the NBA Finals.

Even today, Kobe wasn't forcing too much except some in the fourth quarter. Hello, that's when Kobe is supposed to take over.

I don't think these two games means Kobe didn't deserve the "regular season" MVP.

Hey at least he's in the finals, the last three MVP's didn't make it that far.
