...by criticizing the refs.

He knows his team will get more calls from now on.

Remember after game 6 of the '84 Finals when Bird called out Stern on a FT conspiracy.

He might be bitching, but he knows what he's doing

It didn't work in 2004.

The lakers need to play better D and have the Celtics miss some shots.

That's cause the better team won that year. :toast

Lakers couldn't rebound the ball in 2004. When the opposing team gets 3 shots everytime down the court, you are going to lose.

The Lakers have far more problems than just the officiating. The 3rd quarter was when the game got blown the fuck out, and the refs had very little to do with that IMHO.

First and foremost they need to figure out how to slow down Pierce. I think Kobe needs to guard him the entire game, he's the only player we have that can make him work for his points. Second, they need to stop falling for Rondo's fake penetration. Let him have those little midrange floaters and jumpshots, if he hits those shots I can live with that because Rajon Rondo isn't going to beat us by himself.

The only reason for a coach to bitch about the refs, is to get the calls in the next game

If Vlad starts, Kobe has to guard Ray.

What happened to Stern with last few seasons of fining coaches for impugning the reputation of the NBA. With Jackson's tirade, he should have been fined. Other coaches have been fined for less. Unless Stern is scared that any heavy handedness right now would raise further suspicion on him.

"When I asked if I could cum in her face, she said no"

"That's my thing, not always, I mean, so I stopped"

"I said um, give me a blow job, um, and then....kiss it.....she gave me a blow job."

"Whatever I need to do without making this thing become public, I will do man. I don't care what it is man, I will do it"

"I asked if I could cum in her face and she was like no um, I thought she was cool, you know, I stopped. I stopped pumping..."

"I'm nervous right now my hands are shaking"

"She wasn't that attractive"

"I jerked off when she left"

"I should have done what Shaq does. Shaq gives them money or buys them cars, he has already spent one million dollars"

"She didn't bleed, did she?"

KG should have been suspended for pushing the ref, but with the shitstorm from last year, he;s been a pussy

Why would the refs help you out after you talk shit about them?? I think people read too much into that stuff.

I actually think the Lakers miss Ariza right now, his athleticism and length would have definitely bothered Pierce right now. Ariza could slow pierce down imo, Vlad rad and Luke walton are getting owned by pierce.

DazedAndConfused
06-09-2008, 02:41 PM
Ariza is just too out of sync to help at this point.

Kobe must guard Pierce, Radman and Walton don't stand a chance. We need someone who can at least make Pierce work for his points and can keep in front of Pierce long enough to bring the double teams over. In Game 2 Pierce was blowing by everyone but Kobe is one dribble.

Ariza is not ready to play right now, try back next season pal

Ariza got burnt like 4 times last night from PP...BUT...they got the lead to 15-8 at the time he was in.

that's about the last card a coach pulls off when nothing else works. does he know what he's doing? yes. is he desperate and in panic? yes.

DazedAndConfused

I think Phil will probably switch Kobe onto Pierce. Pierce's eyes light up whenever he sees Radmanovich, and he can usually beat him off the dribble on the 1st move. Kobe won't stop Pierce, but he can hang with him long enough for the help defense to slide over which is all the Lakers need.

Other than that there aren't a whole lot of defensive adjustments the Lakers can make. The Celtics have all the mismatches in their favor, the Lakers need to do the best job they can at hiding their deficiencies. They should probably stop falling for Rondo's fake penetration and force the little booger to shoot the ball. I refuse to believe Rajon Rondo can shoot well enough to single-handedly beat the Lakers.

He has gaurded him, but Ray turns into Jordan in the ref's eyes and Kobe gets called for fouls.

seriously, now that Phil Jackson's game 1 W/L ratio is no longer 41-0 but 41-1, you think the Lakers can still win this series against Boston? :wakeup

Can they....of course. Will they.....probably not.

But stranger things have happened in professional sports. That' why you play the games, though I bet you were one of the many Spur fans that gave up on their team when they were down 0-2 to the Hornets.

The Lakers didn't win game one, so his record is still 41-0.
