Although some may disagree, I think Turiaf has improved over his stint in L.A. He takes everything to the basket with force and has developed a nice mid-range jumper. He's tough, not always smart, but tough on defense. He's also improved on his passing this year. If things went sour with Kurt (which I don't forsee) I think he'd be a good option to look into.

i expect him to, LA stuck it out with him during his heart surgery, they deserve some loyalty from him.

They not only 'stuck it out with him' they paid for the surgery, so you may have a point, but....and this is a big but...money talks in the NBA..and if the Lakers splurge on Sasha they may not offer Turiaf what he feels he deserves....

You can have him. Foul magnet, limited offensive game, poor rebounder.

Seriously disappointed with the guy after he started the season so strong.

...having a big backup like Truriaf for Oberto and Thomas wouldn't be a bad thing for the Spurs....but I doubt they could get him for the right price...

Turiaf wants to stay in LA. If Lakers still want him, he will re-sign with them.

I think that the best for his basketball career is to go elsewhere. Even if he is a limited player, there are some teams where he will get more playing time than Lakers next year.

Turiaf is a much better player than Oberto and Thomas. It's not even close.

He'll cost too much. For about LLE money he'd be a good addition but no more than that. And LLE won't cut it.

ANY team in the league would kill to have ronny. hes a high energy guy who blocks shots rebounds and shoots a consistent 17 footer from the elbows. the lakers would be foolish not to sign him to an extension this summer.

It isn't consistent at all, more streay than anything. Ronny is nice, but he isn't our #1 priority or #2, i wouldn't mind keeping him for 3.5 mill, any more i wouldn't mind seeing him walk.

leave him open and he'll knock it down. hes not a star so no clips on youtube but having watched him all season, he can def knock down the elbow jumpers. iirc he hit back to back jumpers in the spurs series with thomas closing out on him forcing ronny to fade away and fall on his butt on the follow through
