Every playoffs whatever team we are playing their fans stalk ST. We all know this. But what gets me is the guys the collect over 500 posts doing so. Specifically Lakerfan, how so many of them just hover around with nothing better to do but constantly argue and start crap with every body in every topic.
Suns fans were the least. Every year some poke their heads up when the series hits, but they are always reserved and leave quickly once the series is done.
Hornet fans left in a heartbeat. We see like 3 of them left, posting every now and again.
I can remember maybe 3 Sonic fans in 2005, and just a tad more with the Jazz last season.
Mav fan is down the road so I always expect and see them year around. I don't mind them at all neither, they are much less our doormats.
Knowing the cycle will never end. It's quite clear all of their arguments have shifted to the defensive big time since the news broke yesterday to Laker fan. It really shows quite clearly that they feel threatened and probably tainted. Of course this is will be in denial for sure when they reply, proving my point further.
All the years talking about an asterisk for the 1999 NBA Finals, when it was a full playoffs, knowing if the Lakers had won they would not be saying that. So why do I see it brought up every week?
After these guys reach 500 posts, and even lurk for so long they get tags under their user names.. why persist? Only 5 of you will be here at the start of next season, including Dazed, Purple, and some others. No matter how dumb you look. I searched their last 20 or so posts, out of many Laker fans. And I found an average of 2 out of 10 posts that were about something other than defending their team over the fixed issue wish is obviously truth or, talking shit about the Spurs, or something along the lines.
So my point is. Why do it? Why come here everyday and just argue and argue knowing 80% of your posts has been just bickering and fighting? Wouldn't you guys rather spend that time with your clicks, bragging about all your titles, dynasties and hall of fame players? Talking about how you're going to come back and nail the Celts to the cross and take this title? Why use all that time here, going on and on about the same shit Laker fan? Why none of us care, and only humor you and get a rise out of you on purpose.
Kori would confirm, I used to seriously hate these Mav fans, and Piston fans. When I quit lurking for 2 years, and posted first in 2005 before the playoffs, I was so pissed off all the time and chewing out every Piston or Mav or Sun fan I could find telling them to fuck off this board. But by Christmas I learned that hey, some of they are pretty cool and don't act a fool all the time. I used to bitch and moan with Pistons>Spurs guy all day and night. But I began to like how ST is, free and open to public opinion outside of our fan base.
But it to me has just gone to the extreme. I post less and less, cause all I see is fighting, bitching and moaning. The same Laker fans going on about the same stuff. Same arguments everyday. They are either going to learn to accept that their 2002 title smells like fish, and that their accomplishments there after are questionable now that a ref that has nothing to lose, is spilling his guts to get the best deal from the prosecutors he can. I mean, think about it. It's not like the hated Spurs are ever getting any help. The NBA never wants us to win, and I'm not saying all these years have been rigged against us, of course not. 2004 was a hoax however, and that would be my only complaint against us. Whatever Joey Crawford did these playoffs was obvious, he doesn't like us. But he did not cause us to lose any series. Maybe a game in the Hornets series, but not with the Lakers. It was a good no call overall, because we got away with the shot clock violation being called. That's a spade for a spade if you ever saw one.
In ending, this will be a fail. But you guys have to learn to accept what's on the table, like most Spur fans do (not on SpursReport anyways.) We deal with 2006, we deal with this season. We deal and know we ain't winning it every year. Laker fan has no idea what frustration and turmoil is. They have had repeated success in every decade except through the 90s. And Spur fan can tell you what the 80s and 90s were like. Sadness.
The Gasol deal was fishy, you guys need to deal with that and face the music. If SA had done that same deal, you guys would rightfully be doing the same thing as well as the rest of the league.
Anyhow, keep posting away Laker fan. At least it's reading material no matter how disgusting.
